A gun shop owner tells our reporter he got notified through his security cameras around 5 this morning that 3-4 people broke in and started loading guns. He called 911, and TPD came and started investigating, they believe a few may still be inside.
I'm told all deputies are okay. Waiting to get more on suspect.

The I-10 westbound on ramp to Ina is currently closed.

The latest release from MPD says no charges have been filed, which typically means someone is claiming self-defense.
Here’s what they say: “On October 1, 2026, at approximately 3:28 p.m., Marana Police Department officers responded to the area of Ina Road and the I-10 Frontage Road following reports of possible gunshots and a separate report of a possible road rage incident.

Upon arrival, officers detained a suspect. One victim was treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. The victim was last reported to be in critical but stable condition.
Preliminary information indicates this incident may have stemmed from a road rage incident. At this time, no charges have been filed, as the investigation remains ongoing.
There is no ongoing threat to the public.
