Everybody talks about Internet Capital Markets (ICMs) these days, but many of you may not know that Akshay actually coined the term. 😅
Africa’s largest IPO, made accessible through NectarFi, a SuperteamNG-incubated product, using stablecoins on Solana, is a real-world demonstration of exactly what Akshay is arguing here: that the bigger opportunity isn’t just tokenising widely accessible US stocks like Tesla or Amazon, but solving the distribution problem for underserved capital markets, including Nigerian equities like MTN Nigeria on the NGX and major offerings like the Dangote Refinery IPO.
Tokenisation is the future of capital markets, and products like @Nectar_finance are already building towards it by connecting African assets to global capital, and African investors to global markets.

Seen a lot of FUD about @Pumpfun recently.
I do think more could be done to protect new users, but hear me out…
The sheer activity Pump brought to Solana has helped battle test the network at scale, exposing weaknesses and pushing improvements to the infrastructure and validators.
That matters when you look at where @solana is heading with xStocks and traditional finance.
Memecoins might have helped prepare the infrastructure for something much bigger and pump directly contributed to that whether you like it or not.

Invest in yourself sounds cliché at this point but hear me out.
For you to invest in something, you must believe that product is better than everything else and can give you the most returns.
For you to invest in yourself, you must believe you are better than everything and everyone else and investing in yourself will give the most returns.
And if you believe that, no matter how bad it gets, you're willing to take a bet on yourself OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
The belief that you're better than everyone else is textbook narcissism, hence we must all have a little narcissism in our lives.
