We're building MASQ in public.
Platforms rent creators an audience. MASQ is being built around seven creator rights: identity, audience, data, content, economics, privacy and reputation.
Over the next few posts, one at a time.
Some of you have run wallets for years. Most creators and fans never have.
We're designing MASQ for both. Veterans bring their own wallet and keep their setup. Newcomers sign up with an email and get a wallet made for them, with a warm, simple start.
Two ways in. One MASQ.
We won't have a giant marketing budget. We're betting on something better: a village.
Become a MASQ recruiter. Bring in creators and fans, and earn on their activity: 1% of referred creators' sales, 0.25% of referred purchases.
Planning to recruit? MASQ Genesis NFTs boost that to up to 3% and 1%. Coming soon.
So where does the other 15% go?
1% to the team.
Up to 4% in direct referrals.
The rest, 10–14%, runs the protocol before costs.
If a creator works with an agency, they set the terms right in the platform.

You made the work. Most of the sale should be yours.
In MASQ's planned model, 85% of every sale goes to the creator's pool.
Bring in a manager or agency? Their share is your call, never an automatic platform fee.
What would you build if most of every sale stayed with you?
Here's the path a piece of content is designed to take in MASQ.
You create it. It's encrypted before it leaves your device. Ownership and access rules are recorded. Anyone who needs to qualify proves it without handing over personal data. Then the right people get it.
The application is replaceable. The creator is not.
In MASQ's design every part has one job and clear limits. Apps don't hold your identity. Storage can't read your files. Proofs share a yes or no, not your documents. Payments stay separate from all of it.
