the reason Apple Maps is miles ahead of Google Maps is the voice guidance. instead of "in 1000 feet, turn left" it's "go past this light, then at the next one turn left" it's just so much more easily interpretable and easy to remember

Congratulations to President @realDonaldTrump and Vice President @JDVance on Inauguration Day. We look forward to working with the administration to drive continued innovation and jobs for future growth across our great nation.
🧪 @reeses I scanned one of your products on @YukaUS and it contains an additive assessed as high-risk: Tertiary-butylhydroquinone (TBHQ). I ask you to remove it in order to protect consumer health. #NotInMyProduct app.yuka.io/AbpL4F9oBZ3wv7sw…

I’ve never been more thankful to be an iPhone user.
Due to the lack of cell service, EVERYONE in Asheville NC right now on iOS 18 has been able to get messages out and in with the Satellite messaging feature.
This is literally saving lives @Apple.

Another FAKE and STAGED photo from someone who has no clue what she is doing. You have to plug the cord into the phone for it to work! Biden and Harris abandoned Americans in Afghanistan. They sacrificed Americans to an Open Border, and now, they have left Americans to drown in North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, and elsewhere in the South. Under this Administration, Americans always come last, because we have “leaders” who have no idea how to lead!
I was just briefed by @FEMA_Deanne Criswell on the latest developments about the ongoing impacts of Hurricane Helene. We also discussed our Administration's continued actions to support emergency response and recovery.
I also spoke with @NC_Governor Cooper about the ongoing rescue and recovery efforts in North Carolina.
Our Administration will continue to stay in constant contact with state and local officials to ensure communities have the support and resources they need.
Doug and my thoughts are with all those who lost loved ones and those whose homes, businesses, and communities were damaged or destroyed during this disaster.

A little side project I worked on this year was the design of this new flashlight UI in iOS 18.
