Weeks ago someone got into one of my containers.
Yesterday PHP2Shell leaked a day before its patch.
Attackers don't wait for fixes. Most indie devs don't know what's running on their server.
I'm building Warnbird so you find out in time.

So I built Warnbird: give it your URL and it tells you when the tools your site is built with have a known security flaw, with the exact fix and a prompt for your AI coding agent.

GN friends!
Bad part of this... I'm completly out of X conversations. Trying to manage with my little one without expent 2h here 😅. But today less than 2h of mobile and PC just touched to tell Claude how to continue.
Is complicated try to comunicate more the build in public, learn from others, code... and get family time.
This week I changed my routine and started the day earlier walking outside with my little one and I feel better.
So.. touch some grass

Updating dependencies is the least exciting part of building a product.
It’s also the part that got my server breached.
One of mine had a known flaw for over 4 months. I never noticed.
How do you keep track of outdated dependencies?

Vibecoders: when did you last update your dependencies?
Not your code. The packages it runs on.
Asking because one outdated package cost me a very bad week.
Today I took the day off the PC, while requesting Cursor to build me a trading alert bot. Just a concept to test how worth it it is to work with Grok AI + Cursor.
Something I love about Grok is his sincerity. I told him that I normally use Claude and said something like "requesting in small tasks because Grok is less efficient than Claude for one big task"
Yesterday, I hit the weekly limit for the first time on Claude.
No more Claude Code until Friday morning… time to touch some grass and catch up on some sleep while my little one sleeps.
Between Gemini/Antigravity and Grok/Cursor, which one should I try?

My stack as a solo dev:
Next.js + .NET + PostgreSQL, Docker + Caddy on a VPS.
No regrets... mostly 😅
What’s yours?

My work hours used to be 9 to 6:30.
Now they’re “whenever she naps”.
Somehow I’ve built more this year than ever.
builders with family/kids how you manage your time?
Day 11
Today spent the whole day with my little one.
And now it's time to review the agents' work from last night and give them more work.
The launch... the video got some views, but the landing got 2-3 views during the day.
What did you build today?

Spent a day building my own video editor instead of editing a 1-minute video 😅
Delete words from the transcript, the video cuts itself. Subtitles and zooms included.
Classic dev move.
What’s the dumbest tool you’ve built to avoid a 10-minute task?
