Shocking…
This is Taraneh Alidoosti. The actress who represented Iranian cinema to the world, the star of the film that won the Oscar. What did she do? She posted one photo without the hijab during Woman Life Freedom uprising in 2022 to show her solidarity with the People of Iran .
That is all. She said no to executions, no to the crackdown. That same week they came to her home and took her to Evin prison. When she was released, she was no longer the same Taraneh. Doctors diagnosed her with a rare illness that made her skin fall off and ravaged her body. She is still under treatment.
They say it was caused by drug interaction. Which drugs? What did they give her in that prison? No one answers. Today this photo is going viral across Iran because people want to see the price of one photo without hijab. To the regime it was just a photo.
To us, Taraneh is a woman who gave up everything: her career, her cinema, her health. And even now, in silence, mourning her father, she has not bowed. Taraneh, you did not just remove the hijab. You tore off their mask. We are your voice.

🇻🇪🤝🏼🇮🇷:

I’ve been actively using this account for 9 years. As an Iranian and an opponent of the Islamic Republic, I’ve used this platform to amplify the voices of Iranian people, especially when the regime shuts down the internet to hide its crimes and silence those demanding freedom.
Although I live outside Iran, I’ve always tried to report what is happening inside the country honestly, share the news, and make sure the voices of people who cannot speak freely are heard around the world.
In the past month alone, @X has locked my account 3 times, including once for 7 days, over tweets that were simply reporting news from Iran and, to my knowledge, did not violate any rules.
The pattern raises serious concerns about coordinated mass-reporting campaigns by regime supporters targeting Iranian opposition accounts. Many other voices opposing the Islamic Republic have also reportedly faced suspensions and restrictions during this period.
When the regime cuts off the internet, every account that helps the world hear from inside Iran matters. If those accounts are silenced through mass reporting and unfair enforcement, the result is exactly what the regime wants: fewer witnesses, less visibility, and less international attention.
@Support @Safety @GlobalAffairs, I urge you to investigate these repeated locks, review the specific tweets, and ensure your enforcement systems cannot be abused to silence political speech.
Don’t let coordinated reporting abuse silence us. When the Islamic Republic shuts down the internet, X must not become another place where the voices of Iranian people are shut down.

A coordinated mass-reporting campaign backed by the Islamist regime in Iran has been targeting Iran-based, anti-regime, pro-Pahlavi accounts on X, leading to their suspension.
Many of these accounts are eventually restored, sometimes after days or even months, because the reports against them are baseless. But the damage is already done. Suspensions, especially repeated ones, can completely derail an account’s growth, reach, and ability to communicate.
This is a deliberate, coordinated attempt by the regime to manipulate and control the Iran narrative on X.
It is essential that @X and @Support investigate this abuse and take action against accounts engaged in systematic, meritless mass reporting of dissidents.
This is particularly urgent for dissidents inside Iran. They are risking their lives to tell the world what is happening in their country. They should not also have to fight coordinated efforts by the regime to silence them on X.
