Pera Cloud Backup encrypts your whole wallet on your device before it’s uploaded, and only your two backup credentials can unlock it. Not even Pera can open it.

Algorand CEO @FinTechWilliam will be on stage at @EBlockchainCon’s Digital Assets Forum, talking about building institutional-grade digital asset infrastructure - and why it should be quantum-secure now, not later.
In good company with BlackRock, Citi, Chainlink, Coinbase, and 100+ more.

October marked five years since Tinyman launched on Algorand.
Here’s where we stand: the work behind the product, what has changed, and the choices ahead.
We remain committed to maintaining and supporting all of Tinyman’s current functionality.

Hello Algofam! I'm happy to finally present leakswap.com and zebgen.com for public beta testing (using TestNet/StageNet).
LeakSwap is my #Algorand - #Monero cross-chain swaps protocol. Thanks to Algorand's ~2.7s block time and instant finality I believe it to be the fastest non-custodial swap protocol out there. (For now it's only ALGO<->XMR but I have plans for other pairs as well!)
I recorded a video presentation I'm attaching here. I apologize for the background noise and subpar audio but I've been stuck away from home.
Importantly: the full demo is at 19:00 - 30:00. I simulate a full swap between 2 parties ("Ali" and "Xin"), which is also what I'd like the community to try out.
Please watch the demo, follow along, DIY and make sure to send me any and pieces of feedback that you have! I have links to my telegram group and discord on Leakswap.com.
Thanks to @Urthoo for hosting nodes, the sXMR faucet and explorer. And to @kayabaNerve for helping me years ago figure out how to abuse Algorand's ed25519_verify opcode to leak the private spend key share. (Which inspired the name.)

Hey Algofam. The cross-chain atomic swap protocol is getting closer to public testing. Doing some final UX fixing while recording a presentation + demo.
Algorand's instant finality and blazing blocktime makes it ideal for this purpose.

CoinTalk NEWS: USDC adoption on @Algorand has accelerated sharply, with its supply surging 162.26% over the past 30 days to $91.26 million, up from $34.80 million.
The increase has pushed the network’s total stablecoin supply to $92.71 million, marking its highest level since July 2025. USDC now accounts for the vast majority of stablecoins on the blockchain, highlighting its growing role in the ecosystem.
This expansion signals renewed activity in Algorand’s stablecoin market as on-chain liquidity continues to build.

Replying to @GuantumResident @mochanerd
Algorand already processed over 5700 PQ txs + some normal txs on a single block.
We have event coming end of this month where we try to push the limits and see what actual max TPS is. With normal txs max TPS was over 15k.
Also good to remember that Algorand can triple TPS throughput by reducing block time. That can be done when ever node runners want that but downside is increased hardware requirements.
So far 15k tps and 2.8sec block time is fine because you can run node with raspberry pi

We are SO exited to announce:
Sign in with Google, Apple, or Face ID.
Trade without wallets, seed phrases, or extensions.
We now abstract away the blockchain completely so the account stays yours, and the experience stays simple.

Before we all move on to the new CEO at Algorand, I want to say something about Staci Warden. @StaciW_DC
She took over in January 2022, which means she inherited 2021. Every chain that year was onboarding projects at speed with almost no diligence, chasing announcements, and the bill for that arrived on her desk about ten minutes after she sat down.
She took the blame for a lot of things she didn't build and she took it with grace. Publicly, repeatedly, without pointing at anyone.
The amount of hate that was diverted to her could break anyone but she held strong where others departed working non stop towards creating a strong and sustainable chain.
She made mistakes. I think she was too corporate for this chain and I think she underweighted what algorand:native itself means to the people who've held it through everything. Those are real criticisms and I've made them before.
But the team she built is the actual legacy, and whoever comes next inherits something functional rather than something burning. That's not nothing. That's most of the job.
Five years in that seat, in this industry, is a long time.
Thank you, Staci.
Zero downtime after 64 million blocks and 3.69 billion transactions is reliability.
Handling upwards of 10,000 TPS is reliability.
Being ready for the quantum future since 2022, with 1.5 million post-quantum transactions, is reliability for the foreseeable future.
Algorand Foundation releases open protocol for verifying AI agent approvals
@Algorand and Pera Wallet (@PeraAlgoWallet) released AC2 this week, an open protocol that replaces chat-based AI agent approvals with hardware-bound passkey signatures. Approving an agent's action produces a cryptographic record of who authorized what, and when.
The design also keeps API keys on the user's device, with the agent receiving signed authorization instead of the credential itself. The @AlgoFoundation describes the protocol as blockchain-agnostic, with a reference wallet live on GitHub and both major app stores.
