🚨🚨NEW: Absent from training: Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford.

🚨JUST IN: This is the meeting that needed to happen. Carrick and Bruno have cleared the air and both men have vowed to put everything into fixing Manchester United.
If they get this right, it sets the tone for the rest of the campaign.
🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Manchester United have decided to KEEP Michael Carrick as manager for now, despite serious discussions about sacking him!
Three key reasons behind the decision:
• FINANCES: Sacking Carrick and hiring a replacement would be expensive, particularly if United pursue Eddie Howe.
• REPLACEMENTS: The club’s hierarchy is not fully convinced or united on the available candidates.
• INTERNATIONAL BREAK: United could wait until the upcoming break to give a new manager more time to settle in.
Carrick also held a PRODUCTIVE meeting with players and staff to clear the air and unite the dressing room.
His future could now depend on Saturday’s match against Chelsea.

16-year-old Max Dowman sent off for kicking out at Harrison Neal.
He’d been getting clattered all night and reacted by kicking out. Straight red.

🚨 SkyKaveh absolutely DESTROYS Jim Ratcliffe live on Sky Sports. ‘The person to blame is Jim Ratcliffe.’ Watch this 💔
Sir Jim Ratcliffe is to blame for Manchester United’s mess.
He bought only 29% nearly three years ago, left the Glazers in place, and took control of football operations. That’s the original sin he didn’t clean house, he just propped them up.
Then came the arrogance. He thought he knew better than anyone else and decided to run the club his way. Two and a half years later, look at the results.
The managerial chaos followed:
• First he backed Erik ten Hag and said no more chopping and changing.
• Then he was meeting Thomas Tuchel and others behind Ten Hag’s back.
• When no one else was available, he gave Ten Hag a new contract and money.
• A few games later, Ten Hag was sacked.
• Mid-season they begged Ruben Amorim to join (he wanted to wait until summer).
They paid a fortune for a manager who plays a completely different system.
• Dan Ashworth didn’t want him and left. They went all-in on Amorim. It failed. He was sacked.
• Michael Carrick came in as interim, results improved, then he got the full-time job.
The transfer policy made things worse:
• No more £250-300k-a-week wages.
• No signings over £60-70m.
• Only players with Premier League experience.
• One window for forwards, next for midfielders, then defenders.
So players like Mateus Fernandes, Elliot Anderson, Harry Kane, Declan Rice…they won’t be coming.
This is Jim Ratcliffe’s way. He is responsible for the situation. #MUFC
🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: The Glazers are worried that Sir Jim Ratcliffe's management of Manchester United may be the ultimate downfall of the club.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe's last 3 years as the boss of football operations at the club have been really not what fans expected.
The club is now 1 point short of being in a relegation position.
