Today’s episode of Math Therapy is like no other we’ve EVER recorded 🫣
She swore she was bad at math.
She believed she wasn’t smart.
2 weeks of @MathTherapy later?
She calls herself a mathematician 💅
This episode will change how you see math and your students:

Catch @pwharris & I duking it out (slight exaggeration) on @debatemathpod! Episode airs in a few weeks, but while you’re waiting you might as well start binging their back catalog bc we are HUGE fans 🤩
Things got spicy between me & @pwharris on @debatemathpod last night! Can’t wait for you guys to hear our 🥵very heated🥵 (but actually pretty chill & totally respectful) debate about whether or not we should *dump the algorithm* 🫣🤯
After 6 seasons, Vanessa put our producer David in the hotseat for a quite unfiltered conversation about:
😲 what it's like working on the podcast
😲 David's own experience overcoming math trauma
😲 how he feels about "the math wars" & politics in the classroom

Our favourite show! But we use better gear 😂 Could you imagine @themathguru hosting a true crime podcast?! 🧐
Wirecutter’s audio experts rated the fictional true-crime podcast equipment in “Only Murders in the Building,” and the reviews were mixed. nytimes.com/wirecutter/revie…
Here’s a more PG but far more obscure “what’s in the box” GIF 😂 (Guaranteed Vanessa has not seen this movie 😛)

🚨SURPRISE🚨I was a guest on my OWN podcast & things got juicy. My @MathTherapy producer & I talk about my book, my views on fame + fortune, and my belief that though we might disagree on pedagogy, most of us DO agree that we want what’s best for kids🙏
