How is the Van Wyck Expressway STILL this dysfunctional? A 30-minute trip to JFK turns into an hour plus at 5 AM. Constant delays and construction on a major airport access route are unacceptable. Travelers deserve better than this incompetence. @NYSDOT_NYC @NYSDOT @PANYNJ

There are ~9000 times as many trees in Canada as people. Most of the forest is highly inaccessible, far from any towns or roads. Any sort of large-scale active forest managment is a fantasy in Canada, and firefighting is mostly limited to the small portion near inhabited areas.
