Primary schools need to stop encouring the mad, sexist idea that girls with short hair who play football might be boys. #SaveTheTomboys

I have come across this driver a few times. She clearly does not have the peripheral vision required to drive safely. When I pointed out to her that she had driven past my stop, despite my ringing the bell well before, she was unable to understand what was said.
London, 2026. A woman in a full burqa driving the 88 bus to Parliament Hill Fields. She can barely see, she can barely breathe, she can't be identified in an emergency. This is not integration. This is the end of Europe.

It wasn't the right who came after our livelihoods. It wasn't the right who celebrated the murder and rape spree on October 7th. It wasn't the right who served teenage girls up to grooming gangs on a fucking platter.
The movement I spend 8 years of my life helping to buid got captured by the far right. And I'm not bitter, I'm pissed off. And calling pissed off women 'bitter' is misogyny.

I dunno, I'm still finding Tesco's packs of bacon hard to open without using a knife even when there's a tab at the corner that says 'pull here to open'. As far as I know he's done fuck all about that.
In his first 100 days as Prime Minister, Andy Burnham has been tackling the long term problems that have been ignored for far too long and giving people vital breathing space on the cost of living.

This is narcissistic grandiosity. It amounts to RECOGNISE ME. Ordinary ppl. collectively making noise have shifted things and not an abuser of multiple women who seeks financial gain. No sympathy.

I’ve had some criticism for publishing this man’s picture. As I’ve had with similar stories. Apparently, reporting on someone’s publicly stated views and activities is now considered ‘outing’ them. But these men have already ‘outed’ themselves. They’ve published their own names, photographs and details of their activities online. For anyone to see. And when information about their profession or place of work is also publicly available, it hardly takes a detective to join the dots. I haven’t gone digging into their private lives or uncovered some great secret. I’ve reported information they’ve chosen to make public. But here’s the more important point. These are stories of legitimate public interest. In this case, a man publicly announced plans to organise a group to turn up at a parkrun event to give people he calls ‘transphobes’ a fright. In other words, to give women campaigning for fairness in female sport a fright. I recognise he may not be aware that many of these women have already experienced abuse, threats and intimidation. But that doesn’t make his plans any less newsworthy. I also understand this man is employed as a science teacher. Which, if correct, raises further questions about his judgement. As a journalist, my job is to report the facts accurately and give people the opportunity to respond. He was offered the chance to comment. He didn’t take it. Suggesting that legitimate public-interest reporting is somehow unethical is just another way of trying to silence journalists. Are we supposed to anonymise people who have already publicly identified themselves to protect their ‘feelings’? Or simply not report the story? This is how you create a chilling effect on journalism. And that should concern anyone who believes in a free press. The purpose of journalism isn’t to protect people from scrutiny. It’s to report matters of public interest - even when the people involved would rather we didn’t. That’s how a free press works. Read story below 👇

The BBC has paid a former member of staff £400,000 after she was bullied out of the corporation for being Jewish. After October 7, filmmaker Lucie Kon was told by BBC staff that she was "evil" and needed to "consider what drove Hamas to do what they did". mol.im/a/16237847

Too right, our Shabana! Henry Nowak's family are in your thoughts as the killer's mum gets early release after serving a pitiful sentence for hiding the murder weapon. Care about the Nowak family? I don't think you do, mate.
Henry Nowak was just 18 years old, with his whole life ahead of him. His murder was a horrific and senseless crime, and my thoughts remain with his family and friends, who have endured unimaginable loss and heartbreak. The Nowak family have shown extraordinary courage and dignity in their pursuit of answers. Henry’s case has raised serious and legitimate questions about whether more could have been done to prevent this tragedy, and about the response of public authorities in its aftermath. An independent review will seek those answers. I am grateful to Alex Chalk for agreeing to lead this important work. He brings considerable experience and expertise, and I know he will conduct the review with the rigour, independence and seriousness that Henry’s case demands.

Delighted to hear @ShabanaMahmood announce @AlexChalkChelt will head the review of the Nowak case. The Nowak family deserve nothing less than a wide belt and braces review into Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary. What I would like Alex Chalk to know is how utterly unfit for purpose the IOPC is. The IOPC are a very blunt instrument where surgical precision is required in investigations. I know this to our detriment with the Nottingham attacks and all the police failures we pointed out. Nottinghamshire Police, Leicestershire Police could have averted the Nottingham attacks….they failed. IOPC have also failed to date.
So a person lies to police, hinders a murder investigation. Secretes the murder weapon. As far as I am concerned you are an accessory to murder….being released early. Why kind of message does this give out across the nation…..the wrong one. @MoJGovUK @AlexJJNorris Rethink. And Mrs Digwa, what kind of a mother are you. Henry has a mother as well… who is totally broken, will you ever in your life be able to see Mrs Nowak, another mother in the face……..
