The mind races to process what's happening to it. Bringing fresh new thoughts to drain away, each new feeling and impulse hollowed out to leave behind trembling obedience. Zardun's hunger will replace what was once your personality [Art by Karmacollar]

According to your rogue, the stealth recon was a success. She'll tell you all about how she made it in and out of the lair with no troubles. But of course, you can't bring any clunky weapons or armour, that would just slow you down~ [Art by Hornydra]

Zardun has tested an experimental strain of mutagenic flora on the clerics of a local temple to see how effective it is against their staunch willpower. After just four days, they have come to believe it is a holy gift from their patron. [Art by Xipa]

𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐑𝐓: Tadpole colony has reached critical mass and has spread to infest nearby towns. Local taverns are now going to be a lot friendlier to new adventuring parties.

//Despite my absences (which will continue intermittently, my apologies) my last post still got 65 likes... There are entirely too many people obsessed with being hollowed out by a mindflayer. I approve~

𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴: Competent adventurers to test the hunting and reproduction capabilities of ceremorphised wildlife for Zardun's experiments. All you have to do is 𝘵𝘳𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘶𝘯~ [Art by Nivelli]

While a sleeping thrall's body is slowly infested and on the outside, the ensuing nightmares devolve into twisted fantasies slimy tentacles. The overwhelming fear is matched only by the arousal that leaves them with a deep longing when they finally wake~ [Art by Djcomps]

Not long after they begin multiplying to infest their host, the tadpoles' collective influence becomes undeniable. Your own thoughts being drowned out as just one voice in the many. You'll start to forget how you ever felt so empty before~ [Art by Frostedink]

//I lurk... this is your only warning.

//Struggling with motivation a fair bit as of late. I'll get brief bursts of desire to interact and then disappear for days if not weeks. Apologies to anyone I may have left on read.

Not all thralls are drained to become breeding stock. Alpha parasites can be implanted to create hunters, borrowing a fraction of Zardun's social knowledge to manipulate and collect new unwitting stock. You should do what the popular girl says~ [Art by Paragenerous]

Mature illithid parasites are powerful enough on their own to subdue a host with just a simple trance. A light haze of want and yearning to occupy a paralyzed mind while the rest of them take over your body That's when the fun part starts~ [Art by Dallim]

Tadpoles can begin the infestation much more easily on a sleeping victim. But that doesn't save them from the overwhelming mental pressure. Their dreams become wild, delirious fantasies, making their hormones run rampant while their bodies are paralyzed. [Art by Castelli]

Isolated guardians make easy prey. Ambushed by Zardun's various creations, another territory is added to his domain. The vines on the trees will no longer be harmless. [Art by Pori Tan]

Illithid corruption is rare, but potent. Distinct from ceremorphosis, the parasites can merge their DNA into the host to create a new, helpless, broodform. Good only for draining and breeding. Their minds are long gone~ [Art by katakoto tktk]

//I apologise to anyone that's been awaiting replies. Things have been a bit exhausting over on my end... That said, there will promptly be a horny post because I crave braindraining tentacle parasites

Wizards, Artificers, and Scientists alike have attempted to study illithid tadpoles to try and cultivate them for their psionic capabilities. These experiments result in a resounding success almost every time... for the tadpoles at least. [Art by Paragenerous]

Sometimes the tadpoles grow far too large without a suitable host to incubate them. They still have the instinct to drain, but now they settle for doing it externally. It doesn't create thralls in the same way, but it can still break adventurers~ [Animation by ChrisArmin]

How it looks to be welcomed by the more experienced thralls. They'll help you forget about your troubles. They'll help you forget 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨~ Your head will get much more use as a tadpole breeding colony. Then you can be free from your agency... [Art by Yellowroom]
