All prequel praise seems to boil down to, "Yes the acting is bad and the directing is bad and the dialogue is bad and the story isn't well-told, but the IDEAS are good."
If you saw just Messick’s season stats and these odds you would think McGonigle was putting up 2012 Trout type rookie numbers.
Instead he’s putting up a lower OPS than fellow rookie Chase DeLauter. I get he’s a SS but for him to be the inarguable ROTY is a joke.

Here is ANGEL MARTINEZ's projected stats had he not missed 32 games with a fx foot.
Note: he has played 107/123 games (minus 32) or 87%. Using that same pace it is an additional 28 games.
Here's what h8s numbers might look like...
Every level he’s been at he has a single day where he’s like “ohhhh I get it now” and then he just goes fucking nuclear.
God it’s been so nice seeing Steven Kwan find it again. I will be the first to admit I had jumped ship, but he’s also maybe my favorite player in baseball to watch when he’s locked in.

It is time to shake this Guardians team up. Break up the band, stop with smoke and mirrors. It is not working.
BUY and SELL.
This team needs help for several years.
Listen on Cade Smith & Gavin Williams.
Trade Steven Kwan.
Extend Austin Hedges or trade him.
Go get a big bat.
I would be thrilled with adding Taylor Ward provided it's not the only move we make. He's a great supplemental piece on a playoff team, but he's not a silver bullet to fix this offense.

Whether it’s talent acquisition strategies, coaching, or a mix of the two it’s stunning to me that Cleveland has been so unable (unwilling?) to course correct on their hitting development.
An org as smart as CLE should be cleaning house and hiring anyone they can from LA or MIL
Apparently a team has been worse hitting than CLE over the last 2 months but SEA is - and they just fired their assistant hitting coach to try to shake things up. Mariners’ Jerry Dipoto explains decision to fire popular hitting coach | The Seattle Times share.google/ffgcZXHLeDjZIBv…
Cool as hell of Pablo Lopez to do this
Long lines here at Progressive Field as #Guardians Brayan Rocchio, Gabriel Arias, Angel Martínez, Jaison Chourio, Carlos Barega, Stephen Vogt, and #Twins Pablo Lopez all are signing autographs to benefit those affected by the earthquake in Venezuela.

Give Joey Cantillo a ton of credit for gutting through that game. He could easily get another inning or two tonight had that defensive disasterclass not sandbagged him in the second inning.

Jace LaViolette by month
OPS-PA-H-BB-K-K%
.725-80-13-14-35-37%
.808-97-22-6-37-35%
.814-97-22-14-32-28%
After a rough start, the K rate everyone was worried about has gone down little by little, while OPS climbs
Also 6/8 stealing and great numbers with men on.
A lot to like.
Cleveland #Guardians 22yr old OF prospect Jace LaViolette reached base 3x tonight (1-4 3R BB HBP) scoring three runs for Lake County in the team's win over West Michigan.
LaViolette now has a 9 game hitting streak & has reached base safely in 15 straight.
