This whole thread is pretty much perfect.
Two plays ruined Iowa’s first half:
Brown’s fumble.
Not having both tackles on the LOS on a play that would’ve kept the ball in Iowa’s hands under 2:00.
Rewatching Jose Andres’ CNN series with his daughters. They were talking about Andalusia being his wife’s home, and it made me think that Iowa was my mom’s home….and her mom’s, and her mom’s.
Look, #Hawkeyes, you gotta throw downfield. And if you’re not confident Brown can do it, get another QB in.
I don’t get it. If there are 9 or 10 guys within 8 yards of the LOS, you need to get the ball downfield, not across the field.
We had to say goodbye to our 12 year old golden Janey yesterday. She had a tumor on a facial nerve, and went downhill quickly over the past week. 1/x
She hated lightning, fireworks, even heavy rain (she’d have had a hard time today). She loved people. Anyone. She was a favorite of her groomers, our neighbors here and in Florida, and our grandkids. 3/x
Janey ate…..everything. Her food, mulch, dead birds, small fruit from our trees, paper towels, and when she was very young, dental floss, which was a very expensive meal, since she had to have surgery to remove. 2/x
Today’s cook: bottom: sweet ribs, Heath Riles seasonings, Montgomery Inn sauce. Top: spg only, little Riles Sweet Sauce with Franklin’s vinegar sauce. Mine were a bit over. Hers, pretty good.
