Three Russian shadow fleet tanker loaded with Russian diesel have altered course and won't be shipping to the US coast.
The "Agioi Fenandes" (IMO: 9798375) and "Talisman" (IMO: 9292060) switched their destination to "For Orders", meaning that they are actively looking for buyers. The "Leruo" (MO: 9385831) has set course for Brazil, while also looking for buyers. Source is "Marinetraffic".
It looks like that the Trump-Putin scheme has fallen apart the moment the midterms were lost for Trump. What a surprise..

Victoria Spartz, the first Ukrainian-born member of the U.S. Congress, lost her reelection bid today.
Born in Ukraine’s Chernihiv region, which continues to face relentless russian attacks, Spartz became a MAGA Republican and voted against a major aid package for Ukraine in 2024.
It takes a special kind of person to betray two countries at once.

Ukrainian journalist Viktoriia Roshchyna, who died in Russian captivity after being detained in occupied territory, has posthumously received the OXI Courage Award in Washington. The ceremony honored her commitment to reporting the truth despite the risks. Her father used the occasion to urge Ukrainian authorities to recognize her courage with the title of Hero of Ukraine

On the eve of All Saints' Day, memorial lights were simultaneously lit on four fields of Honorable Burials, the Lviv City Council reported.
The lamps were lit at the Lychakiv and Holoskiv cemeteries, where Ukrainian soldiers who gave their lives for the independence of the state rest.

Latvia has just assumed the Presidency of the United Nations Security Council for the first time.
On this day in 1919, Latvian Colonel Krišjānis Berķis signed the order to launch a counteroffensive against German-Russian forces.
After liberating Riga, Latvian forces went on to achieve full victory in the Latvian War of Independence, securing the sovereignty of their young republic in international law.
107 years later, this now enables Latvia to take a world leading role in standing up for the sovereign rights of all nations to exist in peace and security under international law.

The route was long: from Oleshky through Crimea to Anapa in Russia, then a flight to Belarus and onward by road into Chernihiv region. After a journey like that, warm, good food matters a great deal. #ChefsForUkraine
