I knew this gentleman in my teen years, he used to camp outside of our village, he worked on local farms and slept beneath an upturned pram that carried his worldly goods. Of Romany stock, we chatted if I passed his camp (with my lurchers and ferrets) to drop him a rabbit off.
On the back of the budget, a thought. If the state pension is liable to income tax, why are the many state giveaways and benefits not liable to income tax?

😢On this day in 1966, 60 years later, the heart still aches for the small Welsh village of Aberfan when it was struck by an unthinkable tragedy. 144 lives were lost 116 of them children when a coal tip collapsed onto their school.

Hey @UKLabour tonight I am sat in a pub on the North Yorkshire Moors. I have two labs, a bar full of gamekeepers, a log burner roaring and a great atmosphere. This is the England I know, have always known and want to preserve. And there are millions more like me.
