Lincolnshire Reform just spent the entire morning making cuts to our services and putting families at risk. This is shameful.

This is made up nonsense. Pure fantasy, imagination and story telling from this person. Characteristics I do encourage in my class though, maybe she needs to jump back into year three?

It’s been confirmed to me today that Hykeham will be getting a sergeant back for the area - alongside a new PCSO, who will start after May. This means bad decisions made earlier this year to further reduce the neighbourhood team here in Hykeham are now being rescinded!

After some positive conversations I have been able to get NKDC to contribute 3 bleeding control kits for Hykeham, with the agreement of our town council. Hopefully they will never be needed, each kit will be placed alongside local defibrillators.

The changes to policing in North Hykeham and across NKDC have been disappointing. In meeting with Lincolnshire police. We hope to bring some positive change for our residents.

Last night we were at Lincoln Cathedral representing Hykeham for The Right Worshipful, The Mayor of Lincoln, Cllr Bill Mara’s service in support of SSAFA. A wonderful night with fantastic performances from Cranwell Primary School and The Waddington Military Wives Choir.

What a great week at Scampton. We had two brilliant visits this week. Firstly, Sunita joined us for the day to help us explore Hinduism, Indian culture and to break down stereotypes. Lots of great learning and exploring. Incredibly engaging for the whole class.

For @UKParlEducation week, we invited our local MP Sir Edward Leigh to join one of our council meetings at Scampton. It was great opportunity for our children to ask some questions around how our government works, as well as who his favourite PM was. #ukparliamentweek

Out with my family tonight giving away hot chocolate, glow sticks and sweets saying hello around The Forum. This Sunday I’ll be joining Alive South for a family event at 3pm at NK - there will be hot dogs, songs and games. Always enjoy bringing the community together!

Half term break means I’ve brought home the @myHappymind_ conversation cards that we use at @ScamptonSchool. Lovely morning chats with my eldest over breakfast. Today we focused on who we’re grateful for and why.

Lots to pick up across South Hykeham at this months litter pick. This months haul included 15 vapes, lots of glass bottles and energy drinks and a long metal pole. Let’s look after our community - take it home and put it in a bin!
