Herbal Leys, attenuation ponds and rain gardens all part of very constructive discussions today with Alconbury Flood Action Group, local farmers, the EA, Natural England and Anglian Water Services. We are working together to reduce flood risk whilst supporting innovation.

Public consultations launched today on two new strategic reservoirs for eastern England:
- Fens Reservoir: fensreservoir.co.uk/
- Lincolnshire Reservoir: lincsreservoir.co.uk/
Both are needed to meet the water supply deficits identified in @WaterREast's regional plan.

Another great day looking at the mechanics of the various surface water reservoirs Milton Keynes, along with @JGwater and the local @AnglianWater network manager. These lakes do such an important job managing the surface water flow from the city.
Fantastic day spent networking with the wider quality and environment directorate from @AnglianWater at Rutland Water.
