You don’t see many podgy midfielders nowadays; United bought 2 of them. I thought both’d be fine in isolation, but the 5 of Mount, Baleba, Mainoo, Tielemans & Santos looks like crap. I hope it’s being amplified by Carrick & Co’s failings, CBs, players wanting to leave, etc.

The average age of a pub goer is probably 50+ now, particularly in suburban areas where these pubs are. But lots are converting into (sort of) sports bars with high tables and backless seating which the old farts don't want. Give them nooks, booths, snugs, furniture

Can see Ronaldo bringing legal action against Ten Hag.
🚨 Erik ten Hag to ESPN NL: “When I started the job at Man United, I explained to Cristiano Ronaldo the style of play we intended to adopt”.
“But ultimately, you have to bring something to the table yourself… and he no longer had the ability to endure the hard work required”.
“That means pushing himself to his absolute limits every day, training at maximum intensity, and maintaining peak physical fitness”.
This season might not be showing anyone in a great light, but I think Ayden Heaven is dogshit. If they could get £5m for him now, i think they should take it.

Santos' slide tackle here is something to behold 😂
This is one the most ridiculous sequences of defending I've seen. It's so mad from all of them.
Is he strong enough to manage up? United are a club without a goal - what is its purpose? I think these players will only kick in when the club hits rock bottom in March. Hoping they dump Rashford, Martinez, Mazraoui, Zirkzee & Fernandes in January, & bring in loads of youngsters
🚨Christopher Vivell is reportedly also pushing for Sebastian Hoeneß to become Manchester United’s next long-term manager.
Stuttgart were once a club in crisis, with supporters losing hope, until Hoeneß arrived and completely transformed their fortunes.
Manchester United are crying out for that same kind of revival. Could Hoeneß be the man to bring Old Trafford back to life?

Manchester United’s hierarchy privately pledged to try to get to the November international break before having to act on Michael Carrick’s position.
Getting beaten at Stamford Bridge in their next fixture surely had to be baked into that thinking. But, once again, the question bears considering because their latest defeat keeps United on the brink of the relegation zone.
Not since November 1986 have United been in the bottom three past August. That was the month, 40 years ago, that Ron Atkinson’s dismissal as manager led to the arrival of Alex Ferguson.
