I'm deeply concerned about the environmental impact of hyperscale AI data centres, including here in Leeds.
In September, I tabled a parliamentary motion for a national moratorium on them.
I've now also written to Leeds City Council formally requesting an immediate pause in the planning process for the proposed AI Data Centre at Skelton Grange.

The groundbreaking documentary by Lebanese journalist @radwanmortada about Israel’s pager attacks is now available for English speakers.
3 weeks after it was released, the Israelis looted and then blew up Radwan’s house.
Tomorrow pro-Israel fanatics will release a propaganda film in U.S. theaters about the criminal pager attacks.
Watch Radwan’s movie instead ⬇️

This is from Adrian Ramsay briefing the Times today. Adrian and Ellie, who will almost certainly lose their seats, and Carolyn, will have to answer for the deeply dehumanising language they’ve relentlessly directed at Green Party members. They should be under no illusion that people will move on and forget.

Starmerism never ended. Andy Burnham continues to dismantle our freedoms to protect the genocidal Zionist entity. Shame

We need much more of this infiltration, intelligence and information on the internal workings of genocidal Zionist groups. Much, much more.
Schools, synagogues, youth groups, Jewish charities working in 'Israel'. There are more than 4,000 such bodies according to my latest research.
My latest research shows that there are also about 1,500 companies registered in the UK which have links to the settler colony through ownership, or linked addresses in the occupied Palestine.
Many of the charities, schools and synagogues are deleting their glorifications of the Zionist terror colony from their websites. But there will be people in the 'Jewish community' who know things about their internal workings.
Please document the material and come forward. Anonymously, if need be.

Like the withdrawal of Sally Rooney’s books and the arrest of thousands of peaceful protesters for simply holding signs, this appears to be yet another draconian consequence of the decision to proscribe Palestine Action.
When I voted against that ban, I warned it would take us down a dangerous path that would undermine key democratic rights, including the freedom of expression.
The proscription must be overturned and this clampdown on free speech reversed.

I can hardly imagine anyone who hasn’t seen this photograph. But it was taken on this day in 2000.
I cannot believe the photo is 26 years old now.
The boy in the photograph was Fares Odeh. He was just 14 years old.
Ten days after this image was captured, Fares went out again to throw stones at Israeli tanks, seeking to avenge the killing of his 17-year-old cousin.
An Israeli sniper shot him in the neck, killing him.
And there is another chilling detail to this photograph.
The photo changed Israeli tank doctrine. In August 2001, The Jerusalem Post quoted an anonymous tank doctrinist saying tank personnel were now instructed to fire upon rock-throwers.

Please, I urge the world to take this tweet seriously.
Gaza is on the verge of facing another catastrophe. The rain is coming, and hundreds of thousands of families have no shelter to protect them.
Tens of thousands of tents line the seashore, where families have nowhere else to go. Hundreds of thousands of people are living among the ruins of destroyed homes that may not withstand heavy rain.
The tents we live in are torn and worn out. They were designed to provide temporary shelter for a few months, yet we have been living in them for three years. When the rain comes, water will pour into our tents, leaving children and sick people exposed to the cold and flooding, with no protection at all.
Why must we live in such constant fear? Why don't we deserve a normal life, a safe home, and a winter we don't have to dread? Why must our children face this same fate year after year?
Why must the world watch us drown every winter before taking action, instead of intervening now to prevent this catastrophe?
Talk about Gaza. Do not remain silent. We are not asking for the impossible. We are asking for our basic right to live in safety and dignity, without fearing the rain as much as we fear the war.
