Jesus of Nazareth was nonviolent. "Turn the other cheek. Love your enemies. Father, not my will, but yours, be done (drinking the cup of suffering rather than lash out at his persecutors)." Nothing is Christian about wanting ideological opponents to suffer. Nothing.
Matt Zemek@MattZemekJan 9
Imagine Jesus Christ saying, "Well s/he had bad politics and was protesting. F*** him/her. Had it coming." An uncomfortably large % of Americans think it's fine for ideological opponents to get killed. How did we jump the shark this severely? (Media-fed hysteria, that's how.)

Wake Forest and SMU now have a path to playoff without winning the ACC.

I’m sure the coaches at Wake Forest and SMU are thinking one game at a time, and preaching that to their teams and players. Well, it’s almost November, and the rest of us can start thin…

Who are the mid-season ACC coaching dunces of the year?

A month ago, we looked at who the ACC COY of the candidates were. Well, at the just past mid point of the season we’re looking at the opposite. The coaching jobs so poor that they must be cal…

You can see why certain managers are better than others. Iraola has figured it out with Isak. Unai Emery figured it out with Nicolas Jackson, who was poor at Chelsea. What is coaching if not getting the most out of players?

🚨| Alexander Isak has already scored more goals this season than he did in the entirety of last season. Andoni Iraola has unlocked him. 🇸🇪🔥

What's the point of "saving" a recruiting class if the coach can't develop those players once they're in the program? #USC has to look at the bigger picture with Lincoln Riley:

Saving 2027 recruiting class cannot be USC's top priority | Opinion

It is often said a coach firing will destroy a recruiting class, but if the coach isn't good, the recruits won't be coached well. USC must take note

Utah just ran cover 0 on 3rd and ballgame and then brought at least 6 on 4th and ballgame. The football gods respected the lack of fear on display.

Houston needed to try the screen/quick game on 1st and 2nd down to avoid 3rd and long, but alas, the Cougars didn't do so. Utah stands atop the Big 12.

My goodness, how are you getting beaten deep in that situation?
