@5liveSport @RobbieSavage8 Just want to put a thought out there about the world cup. According to various news sources (Guardian, Daily Mail, Times, Sky, BBC) there have been over 6500 migrant worker deaths over the last 10 years of construction for the world cup 1 of 2

(Stadiums, Airports, a whole new city, transport links, etc). There are 32 teams in the world cup, each team taking 26 squad members. That means for every footballer playing at the world cup, 7.8 migrant workers have died buidling the infrastructure. It just shocked me. 2 of 2

Why is it that every time I think there is light at the end of the #COVID tunnel it turns out to be a train?
Bought some just yesterday, planning on extending my native woodland garden into the scruffy bit under the other apple tree into a pollinator patch 🌺 🐝 🦋 🪰 🌸. Need more native flower emojis
Got space to plant some lavender this year? It can look stunning, and pollinating insects - bumblebees, solitary bees, honey bees, hoverflies, butterflies, moths - will love it! 🐝 #gardening #wildlife #MakeADifference

We can’t even agree on how far to go. We say we’ll go the extra mile, we the EU say they’ll go the extra 1.60934km. #BrexitShambles #Brexit #boris #bbcqt

This is undermining to democracy. Why would one state file lawsuits against other states about the laws they passed? It’s a bit crazy. apple.news/AaT5d5FImTUy7wej6…
Wild how much things have shifted on Covid aid talks. In July, Republicans OK'd a $1.3 trillion plan that included direct $1,200 payments. Dems said it was too small. Today, Dems are pushing for a $900 billion plan and Republicans leadership is blocking it for being too big.

'Ditch high definition and new tech to fight climate change'. This is why people lose faith in the climate argument, it sounds petty and ridiculous. All the effort that people put in to fight climate change is wasted when petty reports like this come out. bbc.co.uk/news/technology-55…
We started the @ObamaFoundation to help a new generation build a better tomorrow. And many of them already are, stepping up through the pandemic and protests to demand real change. On Giving Tuesday, I'm asking you to invest in them: Obama.org/donate
