Landed in Detroit, Michigan (never been) and opened Facebook and the first two advertisements were political advertisements.
Can’t escape it no matter where you go.

Some of the most interesting statistics from the 2026 YellaWood 500 at Talladega Superspeedway have to do with Ty Dillon.
Made 43 passes; the next worst was Joey Gase with 130. Most was Chase Briscoe with 445.
Credited for 0 "Quality Passes"; He and Zane Smith (5) were the only drivers in single digits. Most was Shane van Gisbergen with 269.
He had the fewest laps inside the top 15 (five); the next-worst was John Hunter Nemechek with 10.
His nine fastest laps tied Ryan Preece and Ty Gibbs for the second-most in the event. Chris Buescher had the most with 10. Daniel Suárez and Ryan Blaney were the only two drivers to not record a single fastest lap.
Of the 10 aforementioned drivers, he finished ahead of nine of them.
His 15th-place finish was his best finish since Nashville (12th).
Kept the car clean and got a good result from it!

Bring back the 4-mile Alabama International Motor Speedway Road Course instead of Talladega Superspeedway in October.

Since 2023 at Talladega Superspeedway, the three drivers with the highest average rating at the track are Joey Logano (85.8), Ryan Preece (84.5), and Bubba Walllace (82.9).
What’s funny about their ratings is of all drivers to compete in one race at the track since then, Logano has the 47th best average finish, Preece the 34th best and Wallace the 26th.
In the 21 combined starts, those three have 1 top 5 and 7 DNFs, which shows that sometimes the best performers aren’t the ones who see Victory Lane.

In Rackley W.A.R.’s final NASCAR Truck Series race, Dawson Sutton earns the fastest lap at Talladega Superspeedway.

Dawson Sutton is an incredible wheelman. Glad he’s getting a chance with TRICON in 2027.

It looks like Chase Elliott removed himself from consideration of the Most Popular Driver award.
Much respect to Chase.

I think Kyle Larson should be a little worried about his points lead.
Do you?
#NASCAR
Kyle Larson’s 49-point lead is down to just FIVE.
After a brutal day at Phoenix Raceway, Talladega and Martinsville are next — two tracks where several of his closest title rivals have already proven they can win.
Should Larson be worried about holding onto the championship lead?

Chase Briscoe (@chasebriscoe) was the ONLY NASCAR Cup Series driver to spend all 312 laps at Phoenix Raceway inside the top 15.
In fact, Briscoe’s lowest running position was ninth… meaning he was also the only driver to never leave the top 10.
He was also the ONLY driver to have 100% of his passes be considered “Quality Passes” during the Freeway Insurance 500.
