Adulting is basically “if you give a mouse a cookie” but changed to “if you are trying to finish one project, as soon as you start doing it, you’ll remember you also have to do that other thing” and then nothing gets done.

PSA for men: if you try to flirt with a woman by picking on her or making fun of her then you’re not actually flirting, you’re just being an asshole that nobody wants to talk to.

USA Rugby is so bad We picked our seats in the upper deck but the games sold poorly so now we can’t see the big board and are in the sun

this thread is correct no matter what the solutions are
I defended my dissertation in philosophy in 2012. I felt then that a door was closing behind me as I was on my way to my first TT job. In 2020, I was certain that the status quo couldn't continue in higher ed. But the whole op is arranged to preserve the status quo.

I understand how it is for you people who believe in credentialism and who don’t actually respect what Catholics require (I have no respect for Lutherans acting like they do anything like priests do)
Replying to @TheRealRhllor
You're confusing what you *want* it to be versus how it is. You're making assumptions as if you don't think the Catholic Church had conversations around this. You just don't like that there are women and women Catholic chaplains. That's a you thing.

see this is just crap No one says that laypeople & women cannot work in pastoral roles Just don’t call them chaplain if they are Catholics or allow them to wear clerical attire why is this so hard
Who do you think is the expert Matthew? You or someone (me) that teaches chaplaincy and sits on board certification committees. You'd also know chaplains are employees of their respective institutions whether say a Catholic or secular hospital system.

speaking of Dunning-Kruger where is Fr Brendon on what he has in common as a priest of Jesus Christ with Protestant ministers (the answer is one is a vocation, the other is a job)
Replying to @TheRealRhllor
You're right on one thing. I'm not a priest as I'm ordained Lutheran clergy. We use vicar and if you're a BCCed chaplain why you call us chaplain. And Albert did you know there are chaplains from many faith traditions and also humanists. Now go back Dunning-Krugerland.
