Yes, facts. As youth baseball becomes more expensive, we’re not just creating financial strain—we’re shrinking access. The next great player could be priced out long before a scout ever sees them. Talent is universal. Opportunity is not.

Tournaments didn't replace playgrounds & open gyms. They replaced free play. Those aren't the same thing. The more adults organize every minute of youth sports, the fewer opportunities athletes have to develop creativity, problem-solving, leadership, and genuine competitiveness.

The fall of Sports Illustrated had a huge impact, IMO. Getting a great cover and in-depth story in your mailbox 4-7 days after the event definitely prolonged the moment and served as anchor for the memory going forward.

There’s an interesting case study to be had about nothing in sports feeling legendary anymore. I don’t think it’s a nostalgia thing at all, I think it’s the rise of social media and accessibility so we move on from everything immediately.

If someone can convince you to accept irrational beliefs, they can also manipulate you to commit terrible acts in the name of those beliefs.

Curt Cignetti has a fascinating philosophy...don't waste anyone's time, coaches not expected to work nights just get work done, limited practice to keep players healthy

I am willing to lead the revolt, we need Apple to change their ways. Part of the beauty of Apple back in the day was the simplicity of their products, their designs, and their user interface. Those days are gone and we would like them back. Are you listening @Apple ? #iOS262

Hey @bigten can we be done with @peacock? It is almost 11 at night and still no reply of the Iowa/MSU. Happens every time a game is on Peacock.

Why does he refuse to take points? You have to be better coach. This MSU team is heartbreaking.

Starter was pitching great, now we are two pitchers deep into the bullpen with bases loaded. AJ Hinch is the king of over managing, it kills me.

I am trying hard to give Jonathan Smith the benefit of the doubt, but whenever MSU has had success in football it has come when we have a good offensive line and a stout defense. We don’t have either.

I'm horrified to hear that Charlie Kirk was shot at an event in Utah. Democratic societies will always have political disagreements, but we must never allow America to become a country that confronts those disagreements with violence. Mark and I are praying for Charlie's recovery.
