Disabled people don’t want “extras.”
Access is not an extra.
Equity is not an extra.
Justice is not an extra.
Accommodation is not an extra.
Disabled people want what we have been denied and so many others take for granted.
Could not have been prouder to see my 5 year old start loading the cart at Costco this way because the sides are too high for him. No suggestions from wife or me. Started doing it all on his own
