Should have done it a long time ago. I’m sure you won’t miss this ole redneck from the part of Georgia that don’t count @ajc
I’ve had enough this week for the rest of my days. Been reading since I was tall enough to put a quarter in the box across from the Bank of Terrell

Republican candidates for statewide office in Georgia are going to run on being a Brian Kemp Republican for the next generation, just like we used to look up to Sonny Perdue. – at Druid Hills, GA
I will never forget the 2021 GA GOP convention.
Kemp spoke and the delegates turned their backs to him.
Afterwards he spoke to a friend of mine in the hallway and attacked her.
He then turned his back on the Ga GOP and tried to create his own thing. He raised tons of money for his own reelection and didn't cooperate with the state party.
He refused to appear with Herschel in 2022. They had events a mile apart and 1 hour apart
His hubris was overwhelming.
He won.
But his hubris was his downfall
No legacy
Nothing
Good riddance.

Now that the election is over, I can admit that I voted for Commissioner Harper.
I usually always vote Dem in major races but there are simply no party lines when it comes to our most vital industry.
Farmers all across this state will always be grateful for your service, sir
While I’m disappointed by yesterday’s results, the people of Georgia have made their choice, and I respect it. This morning, I called Katherine Juhan-Arnold to congratulate her and offer my assistance in the transition period. Georgia Agriculture is bigger than any one person or election, and the farmers and families who depend on it deserve nothing less than our continued commitment. I made a promise to always put our farmers first, and I’ll continue that commitment for the remainder of my term.
For a farm boy who grew up playing with toy tractors on the red dirt roads of Irwin County, serving as your Agriculture Commissioner for the last four years has been the honor of my life. I’m proud of what we accomplished together to protect and strengthen our #1 industry and the farm families who fuel its success.
To the dedicated men and women of the Georgia Department of Agriculture, to every volunteer and supporter who believed in our vision, and to the farm families who opened their homes and farms to me along the way and welcomed me in — thank you. I’ll forever be grateful for the trust you placed in me and the opportunity to serve.
For now, I’m heading back to the family farm, but I’m not out of the fight — I’m not done fighting for the farmers, families, consumers, and rural communities that make Georgia great.
God Bless & Keep Plowin’.

I’m incredibly proud to have the support of my friend and 4th generation cattle farmer Handy Kennedy!
I’m running so I can keep fighting for every Georgia farmer - regardless of what they grow, where they grow, or how they grow.

Mic drop moment from the Ag Comm debate. 🎤🔥
@TylerHarperGA: Why do you think members of your own party believe I am the better choice for farmers and families in their district and across the state?
DEM OPPONENT: ……. I can’t answer that. #gapol

It’s a great day to get out and vote!
If Rural Georgia does not show up this election, agriculture will become an after thought in Atlanta.
Get out and vote Tyler Harper!

Rick Jackson was a foster child who went on to build a multi-decade business empire. A lifelong Georgia adviser to President Trump is now urging voters to back him for governor, contrasting that experience with what happened when career politicians were tested during Atlanta's unrest.

Great to be at the Sunbelt Ag Expo with my good friend and Georgia’s next Attorney General, @StricklandForGA, earlier this week!
I look forward to working together to protect Georgia consumers and to fight back against increasing consolidation in agriculture and our food supply chain.
Bring a friend and get out to the polls!
