Nik Storonsky is one of the most hardcore and competitive founders I’ve ever talked to. He’s the founder of Revolut, a $115 billion company, and wants to be the number one bank in 100 countries.
When someone asked Nik if he was coming for Jamie Dimon's lunch, he said “I’m coming for his dinner.”
“We want to dominate, otherwise what’s the point?”
He removed every VC from his board, and when one investor pushed him too far, he started his own fund to compete with them.
Nik has a lot of ideas on talent, product design, marketing, constraints, and what makes founder-led companies special.
This is a fascinating conversation about competition, speed, and building a machine-like company.

GHO's Stability Modules just went from ~$60M to $144.4M in two weeks.
That's 46.7% of circulating GHO now issued through GSMs, with ~$50M coming from @monad alone.
The interesting part is what these modules actually do.
They let users swap GHO for other stablecoins near $1. And some of the backing sits in yield-bearing assets, earning for the Aave DAO instead of just sitting idle.
So GHO gets more liquidity to help maintain its peg, while Aave can earn from part of that same capital.
I like where this is going.
GHO just added ~$55M in a single day, taking circulating supply to 309.8M. That's more growth than the previous 10 weeks combined.
Around the same time, roughly 50M GHO flowed into sGHO. About 4x its biggest mint day in the past 3 months.
And look at where @aave is spending now. Pool incentives are down to ~$125K a month, while most of GHO's incentive spending supports the 4.50% savings rate for sGHO holders.
Less spending to keep GHO in pools. More spending to give people a reason to save in it.

French bond spreads are widening.

While the media focuses on the unrest on the streets of France🇫🇷 the real crisis is unfolding silently in the bond market.
This isn’t an inflation problem it’s a liquidity and structural trap. Foreign institutions hold over 50% of French debt. Because France is stuck in the Eurozone and cannot print money, it is completely exposed to capital flight. If these foreign liquidators ramp up their dumping over the next few weeks, the situation could spiral. The bond market is already starting to price in a default risk or a massive EU bailout.
But look at the charts: the technicals on the CAC 40 are deeply concerning.
The last time I flagged a rising wedge like this, Bitcoin was peaking at all-time highs before a historic, account eroding collapse.
Now, the exact same pattern has triggered on the CAC, and the floor just broke.
Pay close attention.

What makes the Bitget attack particularly interesting is that the attacker didn’t need to compromise private keys. The transfers were signed by Bitget’s own wallet system.
