its the exposed arms with a cape. Amateur fan made stuff often (not always) sexualizes characters. Also his head looks like a potato
I wish I was more fluent in film speak because I can’t articulate why this looks like a fan film to my eyes. Something about it either the lighting or the cameras just make it look so uninteresting

Passively communicating to your significant other through AI is always the mark of a healthy relationship.

You're not wrong but thats kinda the point. They chose to write a story where jedi are incompetent. They could have easily written the sequels after Luke established an academy. Everyone would have been trained.
Easy to explain. Every Jedi in the prequels is a properly trained Jedi, even Obi-wan in Episode I. Remember that Qui-gon stated that Obi-wan was ready for the Jedi Knight trials, he had nothing left to teach him (which is why he requested that Anakin be placed under Kenobi as his padawan). There are an incredible amount of lightsaber forms detailed in the EU and other media. Then come original trilogy, there are hardly any Jedi left and the fighting reflects that. Both Obi-wan AND Vader are old and worn down, making them slower fighters (even Yoda shows exhaustion in Attack of the Clones, just to illustrate that age and tiredness still matters even when you're one of most powerful Jedi to exist). For Luke, there is very little information outside of Yoda in order to fight with a lightsaber properly. Hell, even Luke's construction of his green lightsaber is noted with many failures before he finally figured it out. And then get to New trilogy, and once again, there are few active force users in the game. Luke quit training anyone after Ben, so... yeah. Lightsaber fights would look sloppy and slow, because they are NOT Jedi or even Sith. They're all just Force sensitives trying to learn. Prequel trilogy featured people who had DECADES of lightsaber training. So that's the explanation.

If he actually believed this, my own screentime restrictions wouldn't be 2 clicks away from disabling on my own device.
Apple CEO Tim Cook: "I don't want people looking at their smartphone more than they're looking in someone's eyes." "If they are just scrolling endlessly, this is not the way you want to spend your day. Go out and spend it in nature."

I’m convinced the “say thank you to your ai” is a psyops to personify the machine so corporations can obtain power over you through your misplaced empathy. Reserve your limited empathy for humans, not machines.
Saying thank you to AIs is the shopping cart test of our time. Gonna keep doing it.

Nah, the AI will have to figure out what the AI was thinking.
It kills me that the hardest part of programming isn't algorithms. It's reading code someone else wrote 3 years ago and figuring out what they were thinking. And soon you're gonna have to figure out what the AI was thinking 🤡

I don’t get this thinking. I couldn’t care less about where the idea came from, If it’s a better idea than mine, I’m stoked. Keep your self worth anchored on something outside of yourself, and you’ll never experience this again.
I am very excited about AI, but to go off-script for a minute: I built an app with Codex last week. It was very fun. Then I started asking it for ideas for new features and at least a couple of them were better than I was thinking of. I felt a little useless and it was sad.

Why are people so emotional about this? Is Spotify not allowed to make their own design decisions?
This is the kind of petty app icon change that should get the update rejected from the App Store

imma say this after i punch my brother
You’ve never actually touched anything in your life. 🤯 At the atomic level, nothing ever truly touches. That feeling you get is just your brain interpreting electromagnetic repulsion between electron clouds. The object is real, but the contact is a constructed illusion.
