Flat vibe re cox plate ? Imagine sense of wonder/anticipation had the industry seized the moment for a
One off point of difference and staged it at sandown. Imagine the excitement in the south east. Instead’ merely a curtain raiser for flem carnival and champion stakes lead up
This week’s Winning Post column; is the new crowd a good crowd ? Ka Ying jeering suggests the gloves are off and horses are fair game.

Curious if s’wards pondered the rails-bias factor after multiple movements that led to tight “mindset” in the CCup - which had falls. Rails bias = tight racing. Fields don’t fan. Not suggesting blame but perhaps shld be kept in mind re rail movements that inevitably lead to bias

When is the barrier draw?
Can connections still select their preferred barrier like in past?
Terrible build up to cox plate not having a breakfast and morning barrier draw at the minimum
Didn’t anyone think it was important to do a traditional Breakfast With The Best - bbqs, televised gallops, full dining room, barrier draw, interviews - given the disruption to the Cox Plate?
Sort of essential? Is there minimal industry interest in showcasing this Cox Plate?
The traditional Cox Plate “Breakfast with the best” with the bbqs, broadcast gallops, barrier draw breakfast … has that happened ?
Drone shots can be misleading but drone of the Everest seems to explain Purton’s ride. Any chance he had to loop forward was curtailed maybe 500m after start when a wall appeared in front of him. Had to ease and did.

Jennifer Welch: “Donald Trump is a psychopath. Stephen Miller is as well, as well as Pete Hegseth. They enjoy recreational killing and cruelty. Their supporters also like it. Evangelical Christians, they lecture all of us about life. They’re not pro-life, they are pro-killing and pro being punitive towards women and other marginalized groups. It pains me to think that we have to share a country with such fleabags of human beings that support this regime”

Give them 1mill each and call it square.
Everest is amazing, everything else they have tried has made the product worse as a whole.
This week’s Winning Post column - before Blackmore and Payne there was the history-smashing Andrea Leek.
Karma bus has hit the King Charles … $5 million, 4 runners, bog track, big yawn.
If only the big horses were all in Melbourne where they belong - hey we might even have staged a proper race this spring.
Not suggesting will be two land legend shocks in a week but interesting to see tactics for just folk now Jenni is out: trainer is bold / could he set up an early margin and give a sight? Loves soft
