I personally know a volunteer from the organization “Surrey Stands With Ukraine,” who have been helping Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war in February 2022.
Right now the team is collecting funds for 200 winter humanitarian kits for one of the cities in the Kharkiv region.
Each kit will include a gas stove, a power bank, a flashlight, and a warm fleece blanket.
In essence, these are the most essential things to survive a cold winter and power outages.

A bullet went through his head. Somehow, he inhaled it into his lungs. And he survived.
26-year-old Mykhailo “Skhidnyi” from Kramatorsk, an FPV drone pilot, was shot in the head during a firefight with two russian assault troops just two metres above his trench.
The 5.45 mm bullet pierced his skull, passed through his nasal cavity and ended up in his bronchi. Doctors retrieved it from his lungs using a magnetic probe. His brain was miraculously spared.
A month later, he was walking again. A few months later, he returned to his unit — despite being declared unfit for service and receiving a third-degree disability classification.
He went back to the front, became an instructor, trained dozens of drone pilots, and today commands a strike UAV company in the 1st Separate Assault Regiment named after Dmytro Kotsiubailo.
A kid from Donetsk Oblast who lived through russian occupation as a child in 2014. Today, he is fighting for his homeland.
Ukraine survives because of men like Mykhailo.

The horror in Ukraine is unimaginable.
That building you see completely destroyed is a maternity and children's hospital.
That's where YOU would take your wife to give birth. That's where, days later, you would take your baby for checkups.
They don't take soldiers or war wounded there.
Only pregnant women and babies.
Putin did that, and that wounded woman on the stretcher died, and the baby she was carrying died too.
For Trump, this is a stroke of genius by Putin.
For Steve Witkoff, it's a humanitarian act.
