Patrick Stewart Reveals What He Wants Everyone to Remember About Him When heโs No More.
โIt got me wondering backstage just now: What if tonight were my last big public appearance?โ
โHow would I want to be remembered? What would I want people to say?โ
โSo, in the event that this is it for me, Iโd like to take a few moments to remember a great man whom I know has meant a lot to all of us hereโฆโ
Then Stewart delivered the punchline:
โMe.โ

Fun fact this episode potentially cost @TheSimpsons writers the Emmy that year
The writers wanted to submit the widely acclaimed "Mother Simpson" for the Emmy but the showrunners chose this episode instead thinking the 3D animation would give them the edge.
Sadly they lost to the Christmas episode of "Pinky & The Brain:
"Treehouse Of Horror VI" October 29, 1995

Patrick Stewart reveals how his attorney bought Professor Xโs wheelchair at auction then made the X-Men studio pay to use it again.
After the first X-Men movie wrapped, the studio auctioned off the wheelchair Stewart used to play Professor X. One of his personal attorneys bought it and placed it behind his desk.
But when X-Men 2 came around, the studio wanted the wheelchair back.
Sir Patrick Stewart: โThe studio says, โSo, you know, we can use the chair again.โ Oops, no, we canโt, itโs been sold.โ
โThis attorney rented it back to the studio for a significant sum.โ
Conan OโBrien: โI got to hire this guy. He sounds ruthless and good.โ
Sir Patrick Stewart: โI know, heโs working for me now.โ

Rest in peace, Sir Patrick Stewart, who passed away today at the age of 86. Perhaps best known for his iconic role as Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Stewart spent the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown sharing videos of himself reading Shakespeareโs sonnets. Notably, he was once joined by his neighborโs cat Glenn who appeared unimpressed by Sonnet 40.
