TEXAS GIRLS FLAG FOOTBALL! 🤠🏈
Today, October 19, the University Interscholastic League (UIL) voted to approve a pilot program for girls flag football, with a potential launch in the 2028–29 school year!
The proposed pilot would focus on Class 5A and 6A schools, with possible participation options for lower classifications. The plan still requires approval from the Texas Commissioner of Education, and details on the season and format are still to come.
Although this may not have been the full sanctioned vote we wanted, more than 4,000 high school girls already playing across Texas, this is another step forward for a sport that continues to grow! 📈

If you’re so inclined we would love your support as we go for a championship next Saturday. We play in the semis at 1:00 at CTCS and (if we advance) we play for the ring at 3:00. Great, coachable, hard working kids.

Texas has 5 top-ten wins in their last 15 games.
There are certain P4 teams who won’t even play 5 top-ten teams in the next decade.

Tough game, but we pulled away in the end and secured the win against a strong Killeen Ellison team. Made some big plays throughout the game, including on special teams, to help get the job done.
