. It will be interesting to see how activist group SIX goes in its campaign against re-election of Woolies chair Scott Perkins this week. Compared with Coles, he’s been recalcitrant on Tassie salmon farming. The proxy advisers are all in favour. I’ll be voting 3 shares against

Dear corporates, stop hiding protest votes. CBA was unnecessarily unprofessional in making activist group Six wait until the ASX announcement to see that its deforestation resolution was supported by 16% of voted stock. They didn’t even inform those at the AGM. Poor.

Enjoyed looking down on the new ASX HQ in Sydney today. A shame the lame 2 questions lodged at last week’s AGM didn’t shake them up a bit more.

Vets cricket washed out in Melbourne. Meanwhile, in Sydney…How do you catch one of those sea planes to Manly?

Flew to Sydney yesterday & took my girl friend’s mum to the EVT AGM. We’re still in shock that billionaire Alan Rydge, who runs breakfast buffets at his Rydges hotels all over Australia 7 days a week, didn’t even offer a dry biscuit or bottled water to shareholders. No respect!

Why has Alan Rydge called in Rothschilds now to assist with a big EVT strategic review which may lead to huge Sydney CBD property sales? He admitted part of his shareholding is pre-1985. Therefore, it’s tax effective to get the share price as high as possible on June 30, 2027.

After a long tough week of AGMs, enjoying some R&R in Sydney…hard to go past the roof top bar at the Lord Nelson in Bondi Junction.

Went to the Kinatico AGM in Sydney yesterday. Strange for a Perth-based IT company run by a couple of ex News Corp types to be running dinosaur physical AGMs in Sydney. They agreed to offer online questions next year so just putting that on the Twitter record.

BREAKING: A reporter asked Mike Johnson today, “Should we bother asking you a question about Jared Kushner treasonously manipulating US foreign policy behind Marco Rubio’s back with billions in laundered bribes sitting in secret bank accounts, or have you not heard about it yet?"

Am causing some good trouble at AGMs across the ditch. Had a 20 minute phone interview today with a Kiwi journo who is doing a piece on the whole remuneration report debate. For instance, here's a wrap of the action at this morning's Auckland Airport AGM: maynereport.com/articles/202…

22.8% against John Mullen at Brambles today. When is he going to get the message that chairing 3 ASX100 companies as complex as Brambles, Qantas and struggling wine giant TWE is just an unacceptable case of over-boarding. Stop having a lend, John. Listen: announcements.asx.com.au/asx…

This is fun getting into audit partner rotation processes. First tried it at Stockland yesterday and backed up today at Cuscal. Effectively, you’ve got a beauty parade with EY partners competing with each other to get the job. Then the shadowing starts. Interesting. Watch this.

Might have to start talking about Marnus Labuschagne's test batting average. His dad Andre put this in the Aeris Resources NoM: "At the time of the notice, Mr Mayne held 1,076 shares, which represents approximately 0.000001% of the company." See p10: announcements.asx.com.au/asx…

Sure, it's on the very last page of a chunky notice of meeting, but kudos to WIA Gold for not censoring a bruising platform detailing their appalling capital raising record. They even ran: "But wait, there's more!" in honor of the old mate Tim Shaw: announcements.asx.com.au/asx…

Gave Fletcher Building chair Peter Crowley a big pat on the back today for being the only Kiwi chair who voluntarily puts up a rem vote across the ditch when he doesn’t have to. Complained about 50+ failed attempts to get others to do likewise.

Farcical debate about hidden proxy votes at today’s Auckland Airport AGM around the chair’s re-election. Lawyer Shannon telling us nothing as board hides behind ridiculous NZSA position, which is out of step with ASA and needs to change. May this be the last time this happens.
