The father and uncle of the children killed in the Jordanian attacks were previously executed at the notorious Assad slaughterhouse, Seydnaya prison. Tragedy upon tragedy. Heartbreak upon heartbreak.

Trust me, we no longer recognize either Israel or any other country that fails to respect Syrian sovereignty.
I have come across many posts criticizing Syrians for expressing strong emotions over the recent Jordanian airstrikes in Daraa where several children and a woman were killed and elsewhere, where an elderly man in his 70s lost his life.
Only Syrians can truly grasp the depth of such pain. For fourteen years during the Syrian revolution, they endured relentless airstrikes and barrel bombs from the Assad regime and its Russian allies, targeted arbitrarily at Sunni Syrian people, including women and children. These latest airstrikes reopen wounds that never fully healed. For Syrians, the present tragedy is not isolated; it reawakens fourteen years of similar horrors, circling back once more.
Yet some urge them to stay calm and suppress their grief, even as images of the children circulate and shatter hearts. Killing children in the name of fighting terrorism is a shameful act that deserves unequivocal condemnation. These young lives had the same right to exist as any child in Jordan or anywhere else. Do not blame Syrians for feeling and expressing their pain. Blame those who failed to assume full responsibility and prevent such needless loss of innocent lives. #Syria

An adorable selfie by one of the Syrian victims of the Jordanian airstrikes, Lamis Al-Salim, 6 years old. May she rest in peace.
You could have just said nothing and it would have genuinely been much better PR than whatever the hell this statement is.
If you remove “Jordanian” from this post, it sounds just like a statement you’d expect to see from the IDF after obliterating a residential block in Gaza.

How do you justify killing innocent children whose father was killed in Saydnaya by the Assad regime? Just say one of their family members is “ISIS,” with no evidence to this very moment on the ground.
STOP JUSTIFYING KILLING SYRIAN CHILDREN.

Jordan killed Syrians on Syrian soil over the Karak massacre, but at what point does "retaliation" turn into Jordan becoming the perpetrator of a whole new massacre?
Are these behind the Karak massacre?!

An unforgivable crime perpetrated by the Jordanian dictatorship. A full apology, explanation and compensation is urgently necessary.
Ahmad Riyadh al-Karrad, who lost his old father because of Jordanian airstrikes:
“Today Jordanian aircraft targeted our farm and my father is in it; he is 72 years old, without any justification. We are people living by God and by the farm and by the olive tree. The jets targeted us we are not Daesh / ISIS, we are not smugglers, we are not terrorists.
Everyone in Daraa knows us; we are a family who work night and day to put bread on the table. We want an official explanation from the Syrian state, from the Jordanian state, from the International Coalition: what was the reason for the strike? What did we do to Jordan for them to strike us? We go into Jordan with respect and we go into the Gulf with respect and we come back from Jordan and the Gulf with respect; we are well known and we work as truck drivers and my father is a schoolteacher.
We are an independent state on what basis do you enter and target? If you have demands, file them with the state. You don't go in and target people.“ #Syria

After 14 years of the world turning away from the horrors Assad, Iran, and Russia inflicted upon Syrians, under the guise of fighting terrorism, Syrians will no longer accept these claims. Syrians are not terrorists and Syrian blood, whether Sunni, Christian, or Alawite, is not cheaper than anyone else’s. Children, women and elderly were killed tonight. This is not the time for narratives and agendas.

It’s time Israel withdraws from Syria so that the Syrian government, which is exceptionally experienced in fighting against ISIS, Al Qaeda, and Hezbollah, can do its job and deal with the terrorist cells as it has been doing in the rest of the country since Assad’s fall and in the years preceding it.
