1D4D1 (otherwise known as 'One Day for Day One') got off to to a great start this morning. The 1-day event brings dozens of staff members together to learn, share, and participate in self-help sessions as they prepare for the first day of school.

As part of her platform to support #literacy, Cabinet Member Liliana collected books from people across Connecticut and donated them to #NewHavenReads! Liliana hopes that her work will help more kids have access to books. Way to go! #CTKGCabinet #Literacy #ReadingIsCool

It's FLAG DAY! For the past year these two young ladies learned how to fold our flag properly, thanks to Mr. Tony (Meadowside). Today, they demonstrated what they learned -- and they did a perfect job. Great work ... and thank you!
