For this project we supplied equipment needed for their latest vascular surgery mission to Sudan, including a variety of gifts in kind, with a large selection of high quality surgical instruments, as well as a biomedical engineering course (building capacity for the long-term).

One of our recent shipments was funded by the Fistula Foundation and FIGO, who provided a donation of multiple fistula sets. Our CEO has been visiting Uganda and so was able to personally oversee these donations.

It will be great to see the positive impact this equipment (alongside the three biomedical engineering courses we have sent) will have on patient care through capacity building, and we look forward to supporting the hospital, and many more like it, for years to come.

We are pleased to be able to support so many hospitals around the world with much needed medical equipment. This latest shipment is to a hospital in Madagascar which we have been working with for a number of years, and have previously supplied with numerous shipments.

He was so pleased to be able to meet with such an interesting and wide-ranging group of people, as well as to have the opportunity to share more about our work as an organisation. It was also great to listen to and learn from others at the meeting.

This combination of equipment and local biomedical engineering capacity makes a huge difference to patient care, and we are pleased to be able to support the ongoing efforts in the region.

The local team have also really appreciated the biomedical engineering training programme we supplied. They recognise the enormous long-term impact this can have, developing the local skills needed to maintain, repair, and keep the equipment working for years to come.
