Finally dried out enough to mow some rough and the crew did an awesome job. 90 acres of rough mowed today before the next round of storms. We need some sunshine and wind to dry things out.
After 12.25" of rain the last two weeks saying it's been difficult to get things done is an understatement. Even through the challenges the staff has been unbelievable getting the course back together. We continue to push forward.

Taking out the new sod cutter to work on expanding some tees to help with all the golf rounds we are seeing. Grateful for owners, management and a strong membership for continuing to provide us with the tools we need to continually improve the golf course each year.

Extremely hot and humid weather has many golf courses under serious stress right now. You may notice some temporary changes in playing conditions as superintendents adjust maintenance to help the grass stay as healthy as possible 👇
Pitfall traps installed. Another new adventure in the world of golf course maintenance. Let's see how many of the little buggers we catch.🪳
Finishing up construction phase of cabinets. Getting ready for finishing. Looking forward to getting these installed in the new kitchen before it gets really busy outside.

A failed ductile iron fitting under a bridge beneath water in a wetland made for a interesting morning of irrigation repair. Thanks to @zbloom3 for the assist, couldn't have done it without you. All fixed up up and hopefully holds for another 30 years.
Topdress, needle tine and a roll yesterday and then .5" of liquid gold last night to help the cause.
Putting contest for Ladies Member Guest is all set. Enjoy this evening's festivities and tomorrow's event
Fall aerification is complete. Thanks to an awesome crew to push through all the work. Very happy with where the course is heading into the late season. Good roots after the summer.
We have some great weather for our fall fairway aerification. Very happy with final product after clean up. Special thanks to Strategic Turf and @RandyShaver31 for doing the heavy lifting. Sure makes our job much easier.
