Very sad news about Sir Patrick Stewart. I had the pleasure of working alongside him in Logan and directing him in one of my favourite Extras episodes, in which he was effortlessly funny. Rest in peace, Sir Patrick. What a talent.

Peter Mandelson was correctly removed from the Privy Council for bringing it 'into disrepute'.
The same action must now be taken against Matt Hancock, responsible for the generational slaughter in care homes during the pandemic.

Just spoke with the son of one of my neighbors in Orlando. The guy is in his late 30โs. Heโs a lifelong Republican who voted for Trump three times, but he told me heโs not voting Republican this time.
Asked him why. His reply: โThey all lie, and theyโre corrupt as fuck.โ

Everyone is singing in English, then Canadian singer Bryan Adams comes along and starts singing in Italian. You can see how delighted Luciano Pavarotti is, with a huge smile on his face. He seems genuinely impressed and deeply appreciative of the respect Bryan is showing, and you can even see him bowing at the end of the song.
Thereโs something I can learn from this. If everyone showed love and respect for one another, the world would be a much better place.

I will be urging the Prime Minister to pursue a range of measures to improve the lives of the people of Wales.

๐ proposing a new Growth Partnership between the Welsh and UK Governments to boost prosperity in all parts of our nation.
๐ฐ A fairer funding settlement.
๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ท๓ ฌ๓ ณ๓ ฟ Parity of powers with Scotland through a new Wales Bill.
๐ And delivering without delay on the ยฃ14bn rail funding commitment the UK Government has already made to Wales.ย
To name but a few.
Under a Plaid Cymru Welsh Government, Wales will never be silent on the issues that matter to our communities.
