ALT All who knew and loved Jo are invited to join us for a memorial service to remember and celebrate her incredible life and light. The service will be livestreamed, with options to watch at home or come together in person in either Boulder or Sydney. Boulder: Saturday 8 January Pine St Church 12pm gathering for 1pm service start Tea and coffee to follow Sydney: Sunday 9 January Bardwell Valley Golf Club 7am service start (will be streamed in live to a big screen for all to watch together) Tea and coffee to follow PLEASE INDICATE BELOW if you intend to attend the Sydney service in person so that we can get an idea of numbers.
ALT The amazing Jo passed away peacefully this morning surrounded by her family. She fought off stage three lung cancer and almost won the battle. She truly appreciated all the prayers and words of support and encouragement since her diagnosis in September. Jo's incredible personality, wicked sense of humour and endless capacities for joy and love left a mark on everyone she met. We know that she will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
ALT Memorial services will be held in Boulder on January 8 with an accompanying service in Sydney, with further details to be confirmed. We will share those details as soon as they become available. Jo loved powerfully and generously, and she lived a life surrounded by love in return. She asked that no flowers be sent, but if you'd like to, she has said that donations can be made to the any of the organisations that are supported by her beloved community at Pine St Church.
