Congratulations to 2 of our rising chiefs, @nickjbian and @Clfischer253 for their oral presentation on transitioning from intern to senior resident, winning the @ACPCOCHAPTER Governors Choice Award!! Congratulations, we are so proud of these STARS!! 🌟 💫 🎉🏆🥇🥹📚
PGY3s/future chiefs(!!) @Clfischer253 and @nickjbian sharing @ACPCOCHAPTER their findings studying transition from intern yr➡️senior resident…a transition IMHO bigger than med student➡️intern. Thoughtful & thought-provoking. Can’t wait to hear final findings and action steps!
Congratulations @drlessing on winning the @ACPCOCHAPTER Early Career Physician Award!!! You are so deserving and we are so proud! Thank you for all you do for our program! We love you! 🎉🏆🥇📚
I feel immensely honored & humbled to receive a @ACPCOCHAPTER 2024 early career physician award. I will forever cont striving to be worthy of this honor. Immense thank you to my nominators—a reminder to make the effort to nominate those you admire. Thanks to Nicky B for the photo
We had the privilege to grab breakfast AND wisdom from the best! @gradydoctor Thank you so much for taking time to pour into us and invest in our Med Ed careers! #safe&FUN!
Loved sharing ideas about teaching and leading with these dynamic @CUDeptMedicine Chief Residents. Fave idea we shared? In addition to the learning climate being SAFE, it should also be FUN.
Yes, FUN. 🤗

I cannot say enough positive things about this program - genuinely so happy that I ended up here! Please reach out if you have any questions about the program @jbast_md 😊
Tag along for CU IMRP resident takeover! Let me tell you a little about myself as a resident on a research elective …. my name is Julia Bast and I am a PGY2 at CU!
Will end my @drlessing @CUInternalMed #TakeOverForADay w/ gratitude 🙏 for our amazing #Chiefs (who make this place run) & amazing #Residents & #MedStudents who inspire me every day. Feeling #Grateful to get to share a day in the life. Take care of yourselves & each other
Another reason to love this place: the views…and this is just campus (not even the mountains!) A smattering of sunsets 🌅 and sunrises 🌅 from hospital and office
Attending duties! Make sure team is hydrated & nourished. Other principles as I see them (IMHO):
1) I’m here for the residents, not the other way around
2) goal is to supportively push you to grow; guide, don’t direct
3) everything I do is about what you’ll do when I’m not there
I want to highlight additional stellar @CUDeptMedicine residents doing incredible work. If you’re not already listening to @ros_pod, let me tell ya, you’re missing out! @jbast_md @Esselmed #DrBejanSaeedi are putting together #HighYield #Inspiring interviews #Listen & #Subscribe
Just check out this lineup of inspiring people from @CUAnschutz and beyond…and many more soon to come! I’ll say it again #Listen & #Subscribe #MedTwitter

As mentioned, best part of this place is the people! @MedicineCU Here’s PGY3 @nickjbian holding print copy of his #QTc paper. I had the great privilege of working w/ him on this sparked by a pt we cared for together #BiteSizeScholarship #MedTwitter @JHospMedicine #TheHospitalist
Howdy #MedTwitter! @CUInternalMed invited me @drlessing to take over their handle for the day….Big mistake?! Jk, happy to show off our amazing #IMRP / INCREDIBLE #residents & share my love. I’m an internist & hospitalist with a passion for #MedEd & #ClinicalReasoning
We couldn't think of a better way to honor Dr. Medina dos Santos than with a very special noon report featuring @CPSolvers @DxRxEdu and @rabihmgeha. Thanks for joining the @MedicineCU family for the day 🤓🥰🩺 Fair to say you have been fully promoted to hematologist🩸🧬👶
What a special treat to host @rabihmgeha & @DxRxEdu at @CUDeptMedicine IMRP Dr Medina Memorial Report. Special thanks to always-inspiring chief resident @mcolton_2 @MedicineCU for putting together a great case presentation. No better way to honor @CPSolvers @Rafameed #MedTwitter
