Only if money changes hands is it unlawful.
…
There’s a rich history of candidates recruiting other candidates to run.
Whether because the Republican candidate wanted a Green candidate on the ballot.
Or because the Democratic candidate wanted a Libertarian on the ballot.
Or because one candidate wanted another candidate with same name as opponent. Or name of same ethnicity.
It’s not unlawful.
What makes it illegal is if money changes hands.

Today, I encountered a piece of advice that has significantly influenced my voting decisions. If neither candidate resonates with you or if a policy does not directly impact your life, take the time to evaluate who may be harmed or benefited by your vote. By considering the potential consequences of your vote, you are essentially voting for character and principles.
As I navigate these social media spaces, I see a lot of fear being used to persuade people. Especially in politics and voting. We can find clarity if we start to realize our voting choices shouldn’t be based on fear.
1 John 4:18 “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.”
Thank you Jeff Flake
The country will be a better place if we Republicans bury this crass, cruel and coarse playbook.politico.com/news/magazine/2…

Replying to @jackunheard
When every political disagreement turns into claiming half the country supports heinous crimes, we destroy the trust needed for any real accountability.

Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu and Sikh communities came together for the first Los Angeles interfaith concert on Sunday, October 18, 2026. During the event, a representative of the City of Los Angeles presented The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with an honor of recognition.
President Lloyd D. Newell of the Church’s California Los Angeles Mission narrated the event. He served for 34 years as announcer and writer for The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square’s international broadcast, “Music & the Spoken Word.”
“May the sound we hear tonight be more than an ending. May it be a beginning, a call to awaken the goodness within us, to reach beyond our differences, to carry the flame of faith and the light of love into a world that so deeply needs both,” he said.

- It's currently unlawful for noncitizens to register and vote.
- It's currently unlawful for campaigns to take foreign money.
- Prop 144 could materially slow down the count and has very little to speed up the count
- What does this have to do with Free Enterprise? Do you guys ever talk about that anymore?

President Trump: “Russia, frankly, has been fine on Ukraine.” Please speak out, Republicans. We cannot normalize this. washingtonpost.com/world/202…
Things happen; we start to listen to each other. The only problem is that one side can’t have all the power over the other side if that happens. Most of us are in the middle; let’s listen to each other.
