Resharing that moment when I moderated one of the screenings of the world premiere of No Other Land. Was definitely one of the most emotional screenings I’ve done. Congrats to @basel_adra and @yuval_abraham instagram.com/s/aGlnaGxpZ2h0…

Incredible moment when Israel's occupation, Israel's apartheid, and Israel's destruction of Gaza are called out at the Oscars!
Thank you @basel_adra & @yuval_abraham for your powerful voices.

Who gave you the right @LucyWilliamson to breach the sovereignty of a country and enter it illegally? What kind of journalistic integrity and ethics is this?
BBC journalist Lucy Williamson accompanied an army accused of genocide during its illegal invasion, compromising the sovereignty of southern Lebanon. Her actions reflect a clear bias and call into question her commitment to journalistic integrity.

For the New Yorkers out there, LAUNY is hosting a fundraiser for mobile medical clinics that serve people who have been displaced in Lebanon. Lina Mounzer @warghetti and I will be reading, we will spend the night in solidarity and community & raise some badly needed $$$ @LAUNYHQ
The dehumanization of Palestinians, and now Lebanese, is not only painful but something we witness and experience daily. We have to shout twice as loud to be heard and seen. Working in multicultural environments, especially in these times, has revealed the true colors of many.

I have just landed in Beirut as Lebanon faces a terrible crisis. Hundreds of thousands of people are left destitute or displaced by Israeli air strikes.
I have come here in solidarity with those affected, to support the humanitarian effort and to ask for more international help.

Newborn twins in Gaza were killed with their mother and grandmother as their father went to collect birth certificates earlier today.
According to local media, the family had been displaced from northern Gaza and had sheltered further south.

It’s beyond absurd to think that grieving the brutal killing of an innocent animal somehow means one doesn’t care about human suffering. Compassion isn’t something that needs to be rationed. Anyone who compares these tragedies to dismiss one over the other is frankly stupid.

a tip 4 readers: If an article on Lebanon/Israel doesn't include Israel's many invasions & an 18 year occupation, or the routine destruction of civilian infrastructure & areas & instead presents a kind of equal "standoff" at the border, that article is not news, it is propaganda
Medical student & Olympian Laetitia Aoun ends her journey and that of Lebanon today after reaching semi-final. A great achievement for a champion and the closest Lebanon got to get a medal since 1980. I hope this is an inspiration to take better care of our athletes. #Paris2024
She lost her semifinal, but she still has a shot at bringing home a bronze medal for #Lebanon! If she wins, she’ll be the first woman from Lebanon to achieve this and the first medal since 1980. Super proud 🇱🇧 #Paris2024 Her opponent for the bronze is yet to be determined.
Some good news amongst all the pain, Laetitia Aoun to the semi-finals in Taekwondo. From a country with so little resources for athletes, this is a huge achievement. Bravo 🎉 Go Lebanon 🇱🇧 #Paris2024
