Today marks 9 years since Kevin Rudd declared that no asylum seeker arriving by boat will ever be resettled in Australia.
Today 1384 people remain in limbo. Enough is Enough!
We call on @AlboMP to end this suffering. #9YearsTooLong
More than 9 years since Aus started sending people to Nauru and PNG for "offshore processing", 1384 people remain in limbo:
- 216 still in PNG or Nauru
- 1168 in Aus on short-term visas, in community detention, or detained.
It's time to end offshore detention. #9YearsTooLong
