Stuck on a mountain in France in a broken down van. Garage doesn鈥檛 open till Tuesday. I need to be back in Brighton on Tuesday, so somehow need to get me + kids home, which is proving much harder than you鈥檇 think. View could be worse though.

Update: was woken up this morning to be told we had 30mins to get dressed, pack and get to bus stop if we had any hope of getting home in next 48hrs. Made it onto the bus, now waiting for the first of many trains.

Still not entirely sure how, or when, we will cross the channel. Current plan is to head to Paris. All plane options were insanely expensive or convoluted. Train currently feels like best bet.
