Melbourne, Australia — Her Honour Vice President Judge Tran held that Mr Tayeh’s initiation of the chant “All Zionists are terrorists” incited hatred against Jewish people on the grounds of race and religious belief
ALBO: WANT TO TURN DOWN THE TEMPERATURE ?
START WITH WHAT TAXPAYERS FUND
Following the horrific attack on Helen Haines, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has called for Australians to lower the temperature of political debate
He is right to call for civility
Political violence is unacceptable, whoever the victim
But why has @AlboMP & @AustralianLabor enabled it & funded it ?
Labor must explain the standards applied to public funding.
▪️ OnePath Network: A $308,000 Home Affairs grant, despite content describing Zionists as Islam’s “mortal enemies” & dismissing antisemitic attacks as fabricated. Why did the Australian government fund such a vile organisation ?
▪️ Michael West Media: was given a $128,700 grant. Michael West media continually publishes material attacking Australia’s Jewish community, including portraying Australia’s antisemitism envoy as a “Voice to Parliament for Israel”. How does this framing help lower the temperature?
▪️ Randa Abdel-Fattah: received a $870,000 grant. She said Zionists “have no claim or right to cultural safety”. What standards accompany public funding?
▪️ Matt Chun: Received a $42,452 grant. After the Bondi massacre, he published “We Don’t Mourn Fascists”, questioning public mourning for the victims. What accountability follows when such rhetoric subsequently emerges?
▪️ APAN: Victorian government accounts record $74,770 in grants. APAN opposed designating Hamas as a terrorist organisation. What scrutiny informed these payments?
▪️ MyCentre: Labor gave more than $600,000 to the organisation led by Samir Mohtadi linked the the FlyDubai Terrorists who has a history of vile antisemitic & misogynistic rhetoric
Regrettably Premier @BenCarrollMP has NOT ruled out further funding
These examples demand scrutiny of the standards governments apply when distributing public money.
Publish the funding checks. Review the agreements. Enforce the conditions.
Calls to lower the temperature must be matched by decisions about what taxpayers are asked to support
Sadly @AlboMP has repeatedly funded those who have spread hate & undermined Australia’s social cohesion

BEN CARROLL & MIKE BUSH
WEAK ON RACIST VIOLENCE
A Jewish Melbourne man was assaulted at a rally where people chanted “All Zionists are terrorists”
The attack was filmed. @VictoriaPolice repeatedly refused to take the victim’s report
I escalated it to @BenCarrollMP & Mike Bush, but there is NO evidence either acted
Why is racist violence against Jews tolerated ?

WHEN HATE BECOMES AUSTRALIAN POLITICS
“Death to Australia”
“Death to One Nation”
“Death to this nation”
“Burn fascist pigs”
A masked protester in Australia. A police officer stands nearby
No intervention
After the Bondi massacre and the horrific attack on Helen Haines, Australians deserve answers:
Why did Anthony Albanese allow violent rhetoric to go unchallenged ?

"When governments, both at federal and state levels, allow hatred like 'all Zionists are terrorists', and 'globalise the intifada to be spewed and normalised on our streets, at our universities, and online - Bondi is the result” @Jesswilsonmp

DR FANNY READING: JEWISH PRIDE, COMPASSION & AUSTRALIAN SERVICE
She urged prime ministers to open doors to refugees & opened her own home to those who arrived
Dr Fanny Reading turned compassion into action
Born Fanny Rubinovich near Minsk in 1884, she arrived in Victoria in 1889 & grew up in an Orthodox Jewish family in Ballarat before moving to Melbourne
In 1918, amid rising antisemitism during the First World War, her father changed the family name from Rubinovich to Reading
Initially a musician & teacher, she graduated in medicine from the University of Melbourne in 1922. Known affectionately as “Dr Fanny”, she cared mainly for women & children, providing free medical services through honorary hospital appointments
As Jews fled Nazi persecution, she helped refugees rebuild their lives in Australia, offering meals, companionship & practical support
Her advocacy reached the highest levels
During the Second World War, she lobbied the prime ministers of Australia & Britain to admit more Jewish refugees into Australia & the land of Israel - the Jewish people’s ancestral homeland, then under British Mandate rule
A proud Jew & dedicated Zionist, she connected her commitment to her people with service to the wider community
In 1923, she founded the Council of Jewish Women of New South Wales, helping build the national organisation formed in 1929. She inspired women to lead, relieve poverty & support refugees
She also helped establish what became Sydney’s Wolper Jewish Hospital, which continues to care for people of all faiths & backgrounds
Her example matters in modern Australia
Civility means treating others with dignity. Compassion means helping people in need. Leadership means asking those in power to act & doing your part
Dr Fanny Reading lived those values through her Jewish identity, Zionist convictions & devotion to Australia
Her legacy deserves to be remembered & carried forward
SIR ZELMAN COWEN: A LIFE OF EXCELLENCE, SERVICE AND JEWISH PRIDE
Born in Melbourne in 1919, he became dux of Scotch College, graduated as the University of Melbourne’s top law student & won a Rhodes Scholarship
He deferred Oxford to serve Australia in the Royal Australian Navy during the Second World War. He was stationed in Darwin when Japanese forces attacked in 1942
After the war, he took up his Rhodes Scholarship at Oxford, winning the prestigious Vinerian Scholarship for his achievement in civil law
What followed was a remarkable career devoted to education, law & public service
As Professor of Public Law and Dean of Law at the University of Melbourne, & later Vice-Chancellor of the universities of New England & Queensland, he helped shape Australian higher education
He also brought important ideas to a wider audience. His 1969 Boyer Lectures explored the erosion of privacy, anticipating questions that have become central to our digital lives. He subsequently contributed to the Australian Law Reform Commission’s work
In 1977, Cowen became Australia’s Governor-General, succeeding Sir John Kerr in the aftermath of the divisive 1975 constitutional crisis
He described his purpose as bringing “a touch of healing”
Over the next five years, his dignity, warmth & careful stewardship helped rebuild public confidence in the office. He demonstrated how leadership can bring people together through patience, respect & a commitment to serving the whole community
Throughout his life, Cowen remained a proud Jew & a staunch Zionist, supporting Israeli educational, scientific & cultural institutions
Reflecting on the prospect of Israel’s destruction during the Six-Day War, he said: “it would have destroyed me as a person.”
Those words reveal how deeply this distinguished Australian statesman identified with Israel’s survival & the fate of the Jewish people
His devotion to Australia & his Jewish identity strengthened a life of extraordinary service
Sir Zelman Cowen served Australia at the highest level while holding Israel & the Jewish people close to his heart
A proud Australian. A proud Jew. A committed Zionist
A life worth learning about & an example worth following

Australia’s first Australian-born Governor-General was a Jewish Melburnian: Sir Isaac Isaacs
Born in 1855 to Jewish immigrant parents, Isaacs rose from modest beginnings to help shape the nation’s democratic & legal institutions
His contribution to Australia was remarkable:
• Federation: Represented Victoria at the 1897–98 Constitutional Convention & campaigned for the Constitution
• Parliament: Elected to Australia’s first federal Parliament in 1901 & later served as Commonwealth Attorney-General
• Law: Served almost 25 years on the High Court, becoming Chief Justice in 1930
• National leadership: Became Australia’s first Australian-born Governor-General in 1931, serving until 1936
During the Great Depression, he voluntarily gave up a quarter of his Governor-General’s salary & his High Court pension - a tangible expression of public service during national hardship
As a Jewish Australian, I take pride in his contribution to modern Australia
Sir Isaac Isaacs helped build Australia. His legacy deserves to be widely known & celebrated

SIR JOHN MONASH: A PROUD JEW. A GREAT AUSTRALIAN
How many Australians know that Sir John Monash was one of the greatest military commanders of World War I ?
A brilliant strategist, Monash commanded the Australian Corps on the Western Front, pioneering tactics that combined infantry, artillery, tanks & aircraft
At the Battle of Hamel in 1918, his meticulously planned offensive achieved its objectives in just 93 minutes
His guiding principle was to achieve military victory while minimising the loss of Australian lives
But how many Australians also know that Monash was:
1/ The founding honorary president of the Zionist Federation of Australia
2/ A principal organiser of ANZAC Day commemorations
3/ A passionate advocate for building Melbourne’s Shrine of Remembrance
In 1931, an estimated 300,000 Australians honoured him at his State Funeral
He was a decorated soldier, visionary leader, proud Jew & committed Zionist whose service helped shape modern Australia
Sir John Monash demonstrated that Jewish identity, Zionism & Australian patriotism are not competing loyalties
His legacy is a reminder that Jewish Australians have helped build, defend & shape this great nation
Proud Jews. Loyal Australians.

MEMO TO ALBO:
Islamist & far-left extremism threaten Australians’ safety
Every act of Islamist or far-left extremist violence drives more voters to One Nation, putting your political future in jeopardy
Want to turn the tide ?
Confront both. Enforce existing laws. Keep Australians safe
CAULFIELD RIOTS: ROCKS, HAMMERS AND NO ACCOUNTABILITY
On 10 November 2023, Victoria Police authorised and located a protest adjacent to a Melbourne synagogue that descended into violence and intimidation directed at the Jewish community.
150 worshippers had to be evacuated from the Synagogue during sabbath prayers.
Victoria Police’s own internal records, obtained under Freedom of Information, reveal:
On rocks being thrown:
“Greatest threat was when they started throwing things. Throwing bottles at the start, then started throwing rocks.”
On a hammer being used to produce projectiles:
“Someone had a hammer who was chipping bits of concrete and passing them to others to throw.”
On attacks against police:
“PORT were getting hammered at one stage, reconsidered tactics, created distance which was effective.”
PORT refers to Victoria Police’s Public Order Response Team.
Despite these recorded events, no one was arrested or charged for producing or throwing rocks
These were not merely offensive words or peaceful expressions of political opinion. Police’s own records describe conduct involving dangerous projectiles and attacks on officers
Victoria Police knew what occurred. Its own members documented it.
Why was nobody held accountable ?
Freedom of political communication does NOT confer a right to violence, intimidation or criminal conduct
The Jewish community deserves the same protection of the law as every other Australian
Equal protection under the law is not optional
.@BenCarrollMP & @VictorianLabor are funding this Imam
WIVES CAN BE RAPED, BEATEN AND WILL GO TO HELL IF THEY DISOBEY
These are the appalling teachings attributed to Melbourne Islamic preacher Samir Mohtadi, also known as Abu Hamza
The same vile preacher who reportedly described Jews as “bloodsucking humans” & “scavengers”
His mosque was named in a UAE investigation into the Flydubai terrorist
HIS ORGANISATION RECEIVED OVER $600,000 IN TAXPAYER FUNDING
How can Labor justify funding organisations led by preachers promoting such vile hatred & misogyny ?
via @theheraldsun
A SIGN OF THINGS TO COME ?
Dan Andrews drove off, leaving Victorians with massive debt.
Jacinta Allan drove off, leaving even more debt.
Now @BenCarrollMP has driven off without paying for petrol.
Will Victorians once again be left paying the bill for a Labor Premier ?

On 10 November 2023, a driver deliberately mounted a Caulfield footpath & drove towards Jewish people
Yet @VictoriaPolice did NOT publicly condemn the incident as political violence nor prosecute as a hate-motivated crime
When police fail to recognise & confront apparent political violence targeting Jews, they risk normalising such violence
@theage @theheraldsun @australian @3AW693 @aus_jewishnews
POLITICAL VIOLENCE WAS FORESEEABLE
From Islamic extremism to violent far-left activism, Australia’s political leaders failed to heed repeated warnings
Freedom of political communication is NOT absolute
The laws existed. Why weren’t they enforced ?
JACINTA’S MESSAGE FOR BEN: PETROL DRIVE-OFFS MUST BE PROSECUTED
This week, Premier Ben Carroll drove off from a petrol station without paying. Victoria Police subsequently came knocking.
Jacinta Allan previously declared that petrol drive-offs are illegal & “need to be prosecuted”
Does that standard apply to the Premier too ?

On 11 November 2023, following the Caulfield riots, Senator Penny Wong condemned the violence
An account attributed to Brendan Nugent, arrested over the attack on Dr Helen Haines MP, responded by criticising Australia’s relationship with Israel
Not a word condemning the violence directed at Melbourne’s Jewish community
