To prevent flooding in our communities, we must start in the uplands.
Replanting woodlands and restoring peat bogs helps store more water in the landscape, reducing the risk downstream.
We can keep building higher flood walls, but working with nature is far more effective.
Very pleased to say that the FoWW Auction raised £3000! Many thanks to all who supported us, both the donors and the winners of the lots and raffle.
Last chance to bid in Friends of Weston Woods Online Auction app.galabid.com/fowwaa - ends 9pm tonight! Lots of lots! Fantastic bargains!

Could a hedgehog get in and out of your garden? 🦔
Adding a 'hedgehog hole' to your fence is an amazing way to help our prickly friends (did you know the average hedgehog roams 2km a night?!)
