Using CSS Grid, we rebuild grid systems from Figma with a small trick: instead of relying on margins, we use extra columns. This lets us create full-width spans without breaking the layout. For responsive designs, we simplify the grid to a 4-column or similar setup, keeping everything clear and consistent across devices. It’s a system that’s fast, efficient, and reliable—helping us get layouts right the first time. CSS Grid even allows us to define the start, end, or spanning length of an item. These new ways of developing web experiences allow us to work smarter, and thus faster than others. Being able to rapidly create a perfect layout allows us to put more time into focussing on the details and crafting award-winning work @MerlinDotStudio.
