Winter Storm Fern didn’t just damage our campus. It disrupted lives.
Right now, Ole Miss students are facing power and water outages, lost wages and unexpected costs.

Thank you to @POTUS @realDonaldTrump for quickly approving our Emergency Declaration for direct federal assistance.
Already lots of frozen areas in the northern part of our state, with a second wave coming through this evening with even more potential impact in our central and southwest regions.
Stay safe, Mississippi…
and thanks to President Trump!

Statement from Tom Mars, Chambliss’ attorney: “I assume that Ole Miss will file an appeal with the NCAA. That said, there is now an opportunity to move this case to a level playing field where Trinidad’s rights will be determined by the Mississippi judiciary instead of some bureaucrats in Indianapolis who couldn’t care less about the law or doing the right thing.”

NEW: Ole Miss DL Zxavian Harris took a shot at Lane Kiffin after beating Georgia in the College Football Playoff Quarterfinals:
“That’s what Kiffin tried to do. He tried to be a damn announcer … trying to be a troll. We were going to troll him. We got something for him. He was just trying to steal our shine. That’s all he tried to do.
That’s all he’s been trying to do, is steal our shine.”

With Lane Kiffin in attendance, after making a showy entrance with Kim Mulkey, the LSU women's basketball team lost its SEC home opener tonight to Kentucky.
With Kiffin in the rearview mirror, the Ole Miss football team just beat Georgia in New Orleans to advance to the CFP semifinals.
Karma. A straight-up bitch.

That was not the message you said in the meeting room. Everybody that was in there can vouch on this .

All this for Lane Kiffin to get fired from LSU in under five years without a National Championship

I won't pretend that it's an easy decision for Lane Kiffin. When he says he's struggled with it, I believe him. The part of the process driving me up the wall is the amount of people pretending that Kiffin is a victim in this situation. He's currently suffering the consequences of his own actions, nobody else's. Every year coaches are presented with opportunities to leave or stay. Nobody else has dragged it out this way. Nobody else has considered leaving his team in the middle of a playoff run. It's a unique situation, not a fundamental flaw in the sport.
