GOD CAN GIVE YOU STRENGTH FOR A JOURNEY THAT IS BIGGER THAN YOUR NATURAL CAPACITY. Elijah had reached a point of exhaustion. But God strengthened him for what was ahead. There are assignments that require more than natural energy. There are seasons when what you need most is not another motivational speech, but divine strengthening. Elijah received strength for forty days and forty nights. That means God knows how to supply what your journey requires. As we continue these 40 Days of Prayer and Fasting, do not focus only on what you are giving up. Pay attention to what God is supplying. Strength. Grace. Clarity. Endurance. Spiritual stamina. Fresh capacity. The ability to keep moving when you would ordinarily have stopped. There are places God is taking you where your present strength will not be enough. But His strength will be. 2027 — THE ENEMY EXPOSED, JUDGED, AND EJECTED! There are battles you should not keep managing. There are works of darkness that must be exposed. There are things God can do that will leave you amazed. There are answers that will exceed what you expected. There are manifestations that will make people glorify God. So we pray: Lord, whatever is going on in my life that is negative and I do not know, expose it. Show me what I need to know and connect me with the right people who will speak truth and help me respond correctly. Jesus said: “My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.” — John 4:34 KJV So our prayer is not merely for miracles. It is also for completion. Grace to finish. Grace to fulfil purpose. Grace to obey. Grace to complete what God has assigned. As we continue these forty days, do not only pray for God to bless what you have already planned. Ask Him to show you what He is planning. Listen for new instructions. Watch for new directions. DAY 3 — THE KEY OF FASTING There are moments when a situation looks closed, dangerous, and beyond human control. That was Esther’s situation. The Bible says: “Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.” — Esther 4:16 KJV Esther did not begin with panic. She began with fasting. Before she approached the king, she approached the matter spiritually. That is one of the great lessons of the book of Esther. God’s name is not explicitly mentioned in the book, yet His hand is visible throughout it. The timing. The favour. The reversals. The exposure of Haman. The elevation of Mordecai. The preservation of the Jews. God was working even when He was not visibly announced. And fasting became a pivotal part of that turning point. There are situations where you may not yet see what God is doing. There are circumstances that may look hopeless. There are battles where natural strength is insufficient. But do not conclude that God is absent simply because you cannot yet see His hand. Whether you see Him or not, God is real and God is at work. As we continue these 40 Days of Prayer and Fasting, let fasting become more than abstinence. Let it become a deliberate turning toward God. A declaration that the situation will not be handled merely in the flesh. A refusal to surrender to fear. A commitment to seek divine intervention before taking decisive action.
